Your Heart's Song

04/15/2016 10:44

Friend, what is your heart's song?

Are you focused on the world and all it offers or are you turned towards God and all He has to offer?

Where you place your treasure, this is where your heart is.

When the Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for your sin and made a Way for you to have Eternal Life in the Glorious Kingdom, looks upon your heart; what does He find?

Will He find a soul who acknowledges His Kingship or will He find a soul who denies Him in every way; even to the point of deriding others who do know Him?

Are you one of the souls who actively hate anything that even "smells" a tiny bit like "religion"?

Have you got it all figured out? There is no God. Jesus was just a man who died and did not resurrect. Religious people are dummies. Man has to fend for himself. Get what you can out of  life.

God says to you, " The fool has said in his heart that there is no God!"

But, God,has not given up on you. He sees the reasons you have for unbelief. He knows the Way forward for you and is always knocking at your heart's door in the form of what will enlighten or encourage you to be open to Who He Is.

He will not give up on you until your last breath.

He uses believers to do this in many instances.

It may simply be a minister of the Good News on television late one night when you are wondering about things.

It could be the view from a high place that reminds you how small and insignificant you really are.

Maybe it's looking at your newborn and thinking about the miracle of birth.

He wants you to learn of Him. His Character, His Attributes, His Power, His Love.

When you do, your heart will sing a new song.

You will find Truth and a Peace and Joy in life that you always poked fun of.

Friend, if this is you then keep a softer heart and be open to hear and see what God wants for you.

Meditation Verse Hebrews 11:6

04/14/2016 10:59

Meditation  Verse

Scripture.  But without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.  Hebrews 11:6

Faith in God is essential to the Christian life.

It is by faith that God connects with us.

This is a great mystery to the unbeliever.

But, the believer knows through the work that is done in Him by the Holy Spirit, that there are mysteries of God. The believer is given a heart to seek and find Who God is. A believer does not stand on principle saying, "I cannot see God face to face, therefore there can be no God."

The believer says, "I have had an encounter with Love and it is full of Truth and Beauty, and is All Powerful. I want Love to consume me and make me into Love's image. I am willing because Love can be trusted to deal with my soul justly, according to my faith. It is a Mystery that I can agree to not know all about, and I am at peace with that."

Let your guard down daily and be open to listen for the whisperings of the Spirit and for the knocking on the door of your heart by your Saviour.

Be a diligent seeker of God, He will reward you with the Peace that passes understanding. Give Him the place of honour in your heart. Be in touch with Him always, as a True Friend who is available every second of your day or night. He sees your future as no other and knows the way for you to go forward. He has a Plan for your life and will guide you into Truth and Love.

His Word says that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Just be humbly willing in your heart, mind and body and see what He will do.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for calling me, and waiting for me to open the door of my heart. I accept You into my life and ask You to help me to seek more of who You are. I desire to know You and ask to be taught all about You and the Kingdom of God according to Your Will, not mine. In Jesus's Name,  Amen

According To Your Faith

04/13/2016 16:35

Friend, how is your faith in God?

Can it be measured? Non existent, empty, low, medium, medium high, or full?

Remember that faith is believing, and does not have to include seeing.

We walk by faith, not by sight.

Like children! From youngsters they do not know what to expect. All is new to them so they walk by faith in all they do.

They trust.

Jesus wants us to be like these little children. Trusting and believing in Him and His Word.

He keeps it simple for us. We do not have to know where the stars are aligned, or what gods or animals are better than another for any specific need.

No, it's just Him and His Word.

And, His Word says "According to your faith, be it unto you."

So it's important to grow spiritually in faith with the heart, and from there the mind will begin to help the body members to do the Righteous thing; and all things will be given according to your faith, and God's Will, to you.

Pray daily for this mind and heart combination that you may please the Lord with a big and full faith as like a little child.

He loves you and this is a Gift from God; Faith as like a little child.

Learn of Him through the reading of His Words in the New Testament and you will find that Truth will jump out at you.

Grab it and place it in your heart. Speak the Words and secure them like and anchor for your soul.

Colossians 3:1-16

04/12/2016 10:57

Colossians 3;1-16

If ye then be risen with Christ, (born again of the Spirit), seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

When Christ, Who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in Glory.

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornification, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

For which things sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created Him:

Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Forebearing one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

And above all these things put on Charity, which is the Bond of Perfectness.

And let the Peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which ye also are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Let the Word of Christ dwell in you so richly and in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Be Real With God

04/12/2016 10:38

Friend, let today be the day when you fully commit to being real with God.

We try to be real with those closest with us but there is always something we hold back. Or we stretch the truth so that we don't look so bad. There are many ways and reasonings why we are not really real with others, even our spouses and parents.

You know what they are!

But, with God, we can be truth tellers. We can lay out all our issues, problems, trials and sufferings before Him and speak to Him about them all in minute detail about our feelings, why we did or thought, or said, "such and such."

He listens intently and gives answers and comments and encouragement and advice when we are fully committed to the Truth process.

God wants to have this conversation with you.

He'd love to have it before you get to the point of despair, which is where you are headed if you are not real with God.

Many sweep all this inner turmoil under a rug while they practise "other beliefs" but God is still waiting to have the Truth conversation.

Be real with God today and be blessed by the results, friend!

God's Infiite Wisdom

04/11/2016 21:26

Friend, have you acclimated to God's Infinite Wisdom?

Recognizing that He is in Control and His Wisdom is paramount and above all things is the journey of every born again believer.

He holds all of everything that exists in His Hands and under His Will and Holy Law.

He could not be God otherwise, right?

For us to submit willingly and joyously to His Infinite Wisdom is to gain great insight and fluidity in our lives. No stumbling and thrashing about hoping for things to be as we would like them to be, but submitting to His Will in all things.

God could do things differently, He could remove evil from our world, He could heal all our infirmities and never allow any corrupt thing to touch us.

But, it is for His Infinite Wisdom, that he does not.

This shows us that he knows something we do not. He is the Alpha and the Omega and without Him, there is no need for us.

If He ceases to exist so do we.

We should count it all blessing that trials confront us and look immediately to our Saviour for guidance and understanding so that we learn quickly and know that He is for us, therefore in the next trial we have a Holy Armour that will shield us from the onslaught that is sure to come.

These trials and sufferings are designed for us to lose ourselves in God, and to become humble before the Mighty Power of God so that we can have the right attitude towards Him.

Humility and reverent love for Him.

Selfless and willing to serve Him. Not, selfish and willing to serve our own flesh desires for the short term gains.

Perfection takes our lifetime. It is the school of learning to be faithful and believe God.

Stay the course and never give up on God who is faithful to us, having gone to the Cross enduring pain and affliction for us to have eternal life with the Father in the Kingdom of God, amongst the saints and all the Beauty and Truth of Heaven.

We the wicked ones who have been redeemed and accepted the sacrifice for our sins, are cherishd by Almighty God!

God Is In Control

04/10/2016 21:42

Friend, never doubt that God is in control of all that is.

He controls evil by limiting their power. For His Purposes they have a little time left and they have some minor powers that God uses to bring about His Grand Purposes that will be revealed to us in the afterlife at the Great Judgement.

We will see then how Wonderful and Mighty and Majestic and Powerful He is and How loving and Kind and Just He has been to evil and alll those who have followed after evil.

I want to be on His side. He is the winner and there is no way He cannot win. He is God, perfect in all His Ways. Never has He made a mistake.

Think about it. He is the Great Judge and He is Just. He created Law and owns it so He interprets it perfectly.

We only see as through a dark glass what is really happening around us. God has designed things this way for His Purpose.

To Him, we only need to know a certain amount of things. To those who prove their Love and Loyalty to Him, He reveals more and more as we go through life. It's like the big University of Truth and Wisdom ( unlike the earthly universities)  that we get to attend for free. It's a Free Will Gift allowed for all who say "Yes, I believe in You and your Word, Father God."

God in in control and He is to be Trusted and Loved. His Beauty of all that He is, is so magnificent that to deny it is folly indeed for one's soul.

Hop on board the train that is daily leaving the station until God says, that's it. We do not know the time or place when that will be so best to get on board now! There is always plenty of room, but don't delay.

Think on these things, read through the entries in this blog and hear the Spirit calling and speaking to you, and don't deny your soul it's rightful place in the Kingdom of God with all the joyful and loving believers in the Messiah, Jesus the Christ.
