Peace Within

04/01/2016 10:40

Friend, while the world around us is warring and tearing us down on all sides, we can have the Peace that passes understanding, within our soul.

We can go to the Fountain of Peace any time we desire more.

Jesus gives us access through His Sacrifical shedding of the Blood from the Most Precious Lamb of God, Himself.

Do you have a full understanding of the Sacrifice for all?

This is an important and crucial work that our Lord Jesus carried out for us.

He knows what the world does to us and He knew that we needed Peace.

It was not time to bring Peace to the earth in the terms we humans long for, but He gave us something bigger and better, the gift of Peace within each of us, that will see us through our dark days here on earth, when we believe.

The peace within allows us to see the world from the perspective of God.

We can forgive our brothers and sisters because they are lost and do not know of the Path that leads to Forgiveness and Eternal Life.

We can forgive ourselves because when we ask God to forgive us, we know that through our faith in Him, we have it.

Forgiveness brings Peace within.

Peace within begins to drive out sin, negativity, fear, and all the feelings and thoughts that keep us from knowing God.

We embark on a path of renewal of the mind. All the jarring ideas and opinions get exposed as untruths when we willingly allow God to teach and guide us into a personal relationship with Him.

This Peace that resides within us is the foundation that all the other beautiful aspects of Christian life spring from. Joy, Gladness, Thankfulness. We become forgivers of others. We learn to love as Jesus loves. We begin to understand Truth. We gain Wisdom and Discernment from a Godly perspective.

Without Jesus as the Head, the peace we experience is not full. The peace of the world always has to be worked at. It's a continual striving, whereas the Peace from God is a Free Gift and comes from having a deep relationship with him. Trusting Him as Holy God in our lives.

To Forgive

03/31/2016 10:47

Friend, are you finding it hard to forgive yourself, now that you know you are a sinner; even if saved by Grace and Mercy?

Allow the Joy of the Lord to invade your soul. He died so you might be saved from eternal death.

His Blood shed at Calvary on the Cross, was shed for your sins as a payment for them. What He endured is sufficient for your sins to be forgiven.

He is the Forgiver, and you are, or can be the receiver of Forgiveness.

Holy God sees you as Forgiven. He sees the Blood of His Son Jesus, covering you, and He knows you are Forgiven.

Those without the Holy Blood Covering will not enter the Kingdom of God.

Holy Law has a Plan for them.

The Bible says we sin against God even when we sin against our fellow man.

All sin is against God.

To not forgive is to sin.

God asks us to forgive as He does.

It gets tricky when one person is walking in Godliness and the other is not.

Forgive and move on. We don't have to associate with the ungodly. Especiaflly if they demonstrate in their behaviour or words that they will continue to offend you. Generally this can be evil baiting you.

Learn your lesson, pray about the situation, listen to the Spirit, forgive and move on.

The Power Of His Name

03/31/2016 09:49

Friend, there is Power in the name of Jesus.

Speak His Name continually in your inner spirit.

"Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus." unending.

Fill your spirit with the sound of His Name and be rid of negativity. Demons do not want to hear you saying it while they are at work bringing you down.

His Name is uplifting. He is an encourager. He loves and cares for you when you speak His Name.

"Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus."

Sing it inwardly to any music you hear and love.

Demons cannot stand it. They will flee!

The Bible says, "There is no other Name by which you may be saved."

"Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus."

We are weak, but He is strong and can overcome anything the devil puts in our path or has deceived us with.

Overcomer, Saviour, Deliverer, Redeemer, Leader, Teacher, Friend, Resucer, Guide, Holy God.

He is the Joy-bringer. He is not influenced by the circumstances of your life. You have not gone too far down the road to hell. He can and will rescue you if you tell Him you believe in Him and no longer wish to continue on that road.

It's called repentance; when we realize we have gone down the wrong road and no longer want to be doing the drugs, alcohol, unlawful works of the devil, and we decide; make another choice; to follow Goodness and Light.

Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Help me, Lord!"

There's Power in that Name.

Jesus.

The Resurrection

03/30/2016 09:41

Friend, the Resurrection brought Hope to the disciples who after seeing the Crucifixion, forgot all He had told them - that in three days He would return.

At the Last Supper He had told them many things to prepare them for what was to come.

But like all humans, each had his own thoughts on what was said.

None of them expected Him to be crucified.

They knew He was capable of all kinds of miracles, having been eyewitnesses to devils being removed from possessed people and etc., that most of them thought He would overcome in a miracle way, His captors, the Romans.

But He went meekly to the slaughter as a Lamb does. He was sinless, but did not cry out in rage against His accusers.

He allowed all the beatings, and physical tauntings, the pulling of His beard, the placing of the thorny crown on His head, the whippings until His body was one open wound, the carrying of His own Cross to show His shameful (by the world's standards) condition.

For us, the Father allowed this horrendous treatment of His Son!

There was no other Way. The price for sin had to be paid.

All the inhabitants of Heaven saw what the cost was to God.

And today, there is no other Way for us, but through the acceptance of the Truth, that God sent His Son to die for our sins also.

The Resurrection brought Hope back into the the hearts of the disciples.

Jesus appeared to them in the Upper Room where they had all gathered to commiserate in sorrow. They had dreamed of an earthly Kingdom of which Jesus was King.

But friend, that Kingdom is still to come. And it may be in the near future, judging by all the upheaval in the world of which Revelation speaks to us about.

They were so sure His death was absolute that even though He appeared suddenly amongst them, having not walked into the room, Thomas would not believe until he saw the wounds from the nails.

This was Jesus in His Spiritual body. The same type we believers will have when we die.

He conquered death for us.

The Resurrection shows us that God's Way is Perfect.

For the believer, once to die and then to be reunited with our Lord. Then the Judgement. We return with the Lord for His thousand year reign. After that we know not what; but trusting in God, I know whatever He has planned for me, will be wonderful!

Knowing you are a cherished member of the Kingdom of God, what a magnificent thing!

Many Are The Ways

03/28/2016 11:36

Friend, many are the ways that man has devised to get to Heaven.

But, God (Jesus) came to clean up all the ways that were confusing man, to make One Way through the Sacrifice of His Son.

He will not accept your "way" that you have spent a lifetime following; even if it is filled with love, goodness and beauty.

Almighty God says He will accept only One Way; otherwise why did the Son have to be crucified for our sins?

There are religions that purport to "know" many things, but God knows they are tainted by the evil one.

There is only one Way and we cannot get away from it no matter how much we try to justify or rationalize our beliefs.

In times past it is possible that God was showing a person of belief great and wonderous things about Himself. But, man being man; he has allowed evil to creep in under the guise of God. Many are the christian churches that have done it; changed the teachings of the Bible to include other man-dreamed up ideas; thinking that they would have forgiveness at the end. But the number of people they led astray will condemn them.

Even the Jewish religion (God's chosen people) has added laws that God did not intend.

So too are ancient religions that deny the diety of Jesus filled with evil (against God) disguised as goodness.

If fine minds really put aside all they have learned from their "religion" and study the Word they will find the Truth. Yes, they will be able to connect some dots with the previous teachings, but God will show them the error in their thinking if they truly have an open and willing spiritual mind towards Truth.

I can say this because of my own experience.

I once studied Easern religions for the beauty I found there.

But, friend, I have found the Owner of All Beauty, All Truth, All Light, All Peace, All Goodness, All Power and I have free access to Him. I know He is the One to worship and any worship given to any other man who may or may not have "attained" godliness or sainthood or some exalted spiritual position is an abomination to God. They are men who found truth but would not accept the Son.

I found clearly the errors when applied to the teachings of the Holy Bible. And I am just a simple uneducated person.

Be careful, very careful in what you spout or teach or glorify or worship!

Easter is a time for us to consider the Cross and why it was necessary. Yes, it is celebrated at "same" times as other human celebrations.

Don't be deceived by what came first. That's shallow thinking. Of course there were religions before Christ came. He came because of their sinful teachings. They are the reason He had to be Sacrificed!

God Almighty came first and His Son is also God; meaning Jesus was and is the First, with the Father and Holy Spirit.

The Father has said of Jesus, "This is My Son in whom I AM well pleased. Only those who believe in His Diety (Godhood) I will save."

Friend, that leaves everyone else out. Or are you sinless?

Where do you stand should you suddenly die? Believer in Jesus the Son of God who died as a Sacrifice for your sins or one who believes in Him as a good man, but not God?

Holy Spirit Power

03/25/2016 21:46

Friend, believers have Holy Spirit power living in them.

Romans 8:1 (King James Version) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.

Paul wrote to the church in Rome, believers, reminding them that they were not to consider themselves of the flesh anymore, but of the Spirit of God because He should be dwelling in them.

Jesus told the disciples that He would send the Holy Spirit of God to be with them after He rose again.  They did not fully understand this, but they believed Him.

In Acts Chapter 2, it is recorded as follows:-

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. (The disciples.)

And suddenly there came a great sound from Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues, like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The disciples were filled with Holy Spirit Power and were able to go into the world to speak of Jesus and heal and teach.

If we are willing to receive in this measure, we too can have a full measure.

But friend, make sure you have some!

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for the Cross and the pouring out of the Holy Spirit. Lord, I want to have faith like the disciples. I ask Your Forgiveness for all my sins and thank you for your Mercy and the Grace that I have for each new day. I yield my "self" to You. Teach and guide me into a deeper relationship with You so that I see and hear as You do. Cleanse me and make me clean before you. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, I pray in Jesus' Name. Amen

God's Heart

03/25/2016 21:15

Friend, God's Heart is Merciful.

The depths of His Mercy are endless for us, the sinners He came to save.

His Law governs His actions and while we journey through this life on earth we have Mercy.

At our death, we step into Law where if we responded to God's Mercy we will have a place at the Supper of the Lamb.

While here on earth, we have all been invited to the Supper the Bible says. And there is a beautiful robe awaiting us.

Will you wear the robe? Have you identified His Mercy in your life? Are you sure of His Great Love for you?

Or have you been deceived and do not believe, preferring to show up at death's door in your own finery, with all your attendants and finery dangling around your neck and hands?

Will it be "Ta da, here I am Lord! Receive Your wayward soul who made people laugh, and entertained them royally. I was a big shot on earth!"

Or perhaps you will say "Lord, I suffered greatly and was humiliated and walked all over! Where were you? But, I am here now and ready to receive all you have for me."

The third option is "Lord, thank You for your Love and Mercy and Grace and Forgiveness. Your Blood has saved me, a sinner."

Friend, fix your heart and mind on the Lord Jesus. Find out Who He is. Decide to be a follower, a believer in Him and you will be assured of eternal Life in the Light and Love that is God, safe from the clutches of evil, who seeks to destroy your soul.
