He Knows Who We Are

01/18/2016 06:04

Friend, He knows you. He has plumbed the depths of your soul! At a glance He can ascertain your sins and see where your allegiance lies - even when you lie to yourself, He knows the Truth about you.

Who can stand before Him and not fall on their knees and prostrate themselves. We truly are lowly creatures even when our massive egos and belief in ourselves is a giant grey shadow of dirt and filth in His eyes.

All our self help books and self realization methods will never on their own merit get us to Heaven. They can help to make us better human beings but without belief in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit we are just good atheists.

The Key is Jesus. Our very soul's eternal home depends on this Key aspect of God. Belief in His Son.

He is Light and Life and Truth and Beauty and Power and Goodness. He wants us to have these Gifts and be ambassadors for Him.

There is a Mission Statement, a Plan a Path for each of us, and it is about time we all got on board.

The first step is belief.

Having faith in Him to guide and direct our path, to provide for us, to teach us. Have you joined the great Army of God?

If not, do it soon, my friend.

Passion For Jesus

01/13/2016 07:03

Friend, do you believe with your head or with your heart?

Jesus told this story as a way of showing that a passion for Him is the true Way.

He started in this way..."There once was a rich young ruler, (chief, prince etc.) who said he believed but asked for time to go home and put all his affairs in order."

Friend, this type of person resembles many of us who believe with the head and want to be included in God's Plan, reap all the benefits but still have one foot in the world, doing what it is we love that is worldly.

The expectation of God is that we fall so in love with our Saviour that we drop everything, turn around and follow Him.

A good example of this type of submitting to the Will of God is the Apostle Paul who was highly educated and a rising star within the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. He was given a mission to bring to "justice" those Jews who were believers of Jesus ( after his death and Resurrection.)

At that time his name was Saul. He had a believer named Stephen, stoned to death. Stephen's last words to him were of forgiveness. And Saul went with the men he was given, with great zeal and purpose, but on the road to Damascus he was apprehended by God in the form of Jesus, and was left blind.

He saw a vision and Jesus spoke to him.

A believer named Ananais was sent to him to help him and his sight was restored.

This episode in his life caused him to become a believer. He could not deny the vision that he saw and the words that Jesus spoke to him. His men saw the Light but did not hear the words.

Saul used that same passion for God in spreading the Word about Jesus to many nations and peoples from then on.

Because he was learned in the Holy Scriptures, he was able to understand the prophecies and know that God had fulfilled many of them in the carpenter from Galillee. He understood that Jesus was the long awaited Messiah.

His writings are a great part of the New Testament and bless the reader mightily in their teachings to this very day.

Read Acts 22 as Paul writes about his conversion from Judaism to Christianity.

He met the risen Christ!

It changed him from a murderous highminded believer of Holy God the Father to a forgiven, born again believer in the Son Jesus, who is the Messiah the Jews did not recognize when He came in humble form; even though He gave them many indications that He was in fact their Messiah.

Ask yourself, "Have I too, done this? Rejected Him because I have not recognized the Truth?"

Rejoice

01/12/2016 09:25

Friend, are you joyless in your soul?

There is much to rejoice about when you are a believer in the God above all the gods of this world.

Are you caught up in loving something of this world that does not bring you the joy you thought it would?

We go years and decades sometimes, following something of this world that we believe will bring us the satisfaction, love, wealth, inner peace, knowledge, flesh desire; that "something" that none other has!

We run after other thoughts and ideas put forth by mere humans hoping to find the love and acceptance that our soul and spirit is thirsting for.

If it is worldy we will be disappointed at some time.

We try and try to make it work and some of us die in the midst of it, but if you are still alive and you are still thirsting, then my friend, you must start seeking God and His Will for your life.

He offers the cup of water that quenches thirst and the food of knowledge that satisfies.

The one who can stay the distance with Him is the one who receives Eternal Life in Heaven where a Great Reward is stored up for that soul.

Rejoice today that the Father sent His Son to die and be Resurrected in order for you to have a place in the Heavenly Kingdom.

Rejoice that Jesus cared for your soul enough to subject Himself to the abuse of this earth's peoples to overcome the evil that encroaches on our lives here.

He made a Way for us to be set apart from the evil that besets those around us and to have a personal relationship with Him that will show us the Way to Heaven.

Look around and think also about your situation. Has He not been there? Do you see the subtle things He has done to sustain you - even in your sinfulness?

Rejoice and be grateful for His Sacrifice for you. Thank Him right now.

New Every Morning

01/11/2016 16:10

Friend, it is important to remember that God's Mercy is new every morning.

Whatever happened yesterday, happened and there is nothing you can do to change it. But, you can make new changes beginning tomorrow - even this minute.

All we have to do is make a choice to change - even the slightest change will bring new results.

It is said that continuing to do the same thing over and over will always bring the same result. So why not change if the current result is not what you want!

God's mercies cannot be measured. There is one at least for everyone of us each day and we can read His Word to see that they are always flowing from Him - so we can take hold of a new one every second!

He desires good for us just as we desire good for our children and He has the ability to be Merciful and Gracious to us.

He is not like us. He is not limited like we are. His thoughts are far above ours. We cannot comprehend the totality of Who He Is.

It's all about trust and faith.

Believe  and trust Him.

You will never fully understand Him while alive. This is deliberate on His part. There is a reason why He wants it this way.

Just Trust that He is Good, Faithful, Loving, Merciful and Gracious and All Powerful. God above all the idol gods we make. The One True God who owns everything, knows everything and is Law and Truth.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

He Dwells Within

01/10/2016 17:42

Friend, our joy comes from knowing that the Holy Spirit dwells within us. He shows us how to worship and pray; how to believe and have faith; how to know the Son.

You were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance. Ephesians 1:13-14

Jesus promised the disciples that He would send the Holy Spirit after His Resurrection and in Acts 2:1-4 it is documented that the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples.

God in the form of the Holy Spirit is with us each and every day. It is the Spirit of God nudging you in the Righteous Path.  It is He who is revealing Jesus to the world. He never tires and will fulfill all God has for Him to do, until Jesus returns.

He is gathering unto Himself a people from earth- from this world, who love Him, to dwell in the Kingdom.

We are like a plant growing wild that the Spirit recognizes as being very valuable, but it needs pruning to grow beautifully.

Allow the pruning, friend. Be open to receiving the life giving water and fertilization. Freely send out shoots to be trained onto the trellis of Spiritual Life.

Draw near so you can be cleansed and nourished.

And bloom - be thankful and grateful for all He does for you, for Who He Is and for Forgiveness.

Luke 12:40

01/10/2016 09:11

Scripture Verse

Be ye therefore ready also; for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Friend, the Holy Spirit is calling all men and women into the knowledge of who Jesus is.

The time is at hand in the world when if the Lord so desires, He can come back as the Mighty Conqueror and all who believe and are alive will be raised up to the heavens to be with Him; all who are deceased who "sleep" will be raised to be with Him and all those saints of Heaven will be with Him.

In the scripture verse above, He advises us to be ready. Ready how?

He means that we do not let our faith and belief wane; that we do not give in to the strife in the world and think that He is not helping us.

It is important to know in your heart and mind that He is the All Powerful God and He has a Plan according to His Law which is Perfect, to overcome evil.

He has been fair with evil. It will one day have had it's "day in the sun" and will be plunged into the bottomless pit.

Many of the signs, according to Biblical scholars are ready for His Second Coming.

If we say in our heart, "My Lord delayed His coming" and fall back into sinful living, thinking and ways then...

The Lord of that servant (man) will come in a day when he looketh not for Him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him  asunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. Luke 12:46

Friend, do you see how important it is for us to be faithful believers?

Don't let the world and all it's offerings deceive you.

Eat, drink and be merry is not a good mantra. This does not mean that we cannot eat and drink and be merry - it just should not be a lifestyle choice that overrides belief in Jesus, God's Son. (After all, Jesus did turn water into wine - fine wine - at the wedding feast. His first public miracle.)

God does not want us worrying, or being unhappy. Our joy comes from inside knowing He is in control and that we have a Holy Just God as our Father, and that we belong in the Heavenly Kingdom.

Matthew 6:33

01/09/2016 14:31

But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His Righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

Friend, the scripture verse above is being spoken over you by the Holy Spirit. It is a Truth and should be held close to your heart each and every day.

Today, put aside all your worries and concerns.

 Think about those words.

God wants you to seek Him in His Kingdom. He wants you to think about the fact that He has a Kingdom. He is real and He is offering something to you.

It takes belief to activate.

It takes the kind of belief that is pure.

God can differentiate with a sharp sword, the Truth of what you believe. He cannot be fooled. What you say to Him, one day turns into purity. First we say all kinds of things and He listens and He cares for us, and He guides and directs our lives until comes the day when we are willing to be honest with Him about who He is.

When we "get it" - ah, that's when everything in the spiritual world changes and that sets off a new Plan for you.

Strive for this, my friend! I will give a clue - His Name is Jesus.
