Meditation  Verse

Scripture.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.  2 Corinthians 4:7  KJV

The Spirit within us is our treasure

It is our Gift from God, and comes into this world with us and leaves the world with us.

God has clothed it in clay for a purpose.

Our flesh bodies limit us compared to a spirit body.

God has a purpose for clothing us in clay, for the Bible says we are fashioned from the earth; and it is so that He may be seen to have all the Power.

We have lessons to learn on this earth and the flesh body helps us to experience what God would have us experience.

It's important we know about the Power of  God; He owns Power, says who can have it, how much they can have, and what they can do with it.

God shows up when we have exhausted all we can do on our own steam, and we call out to Him for help.

He proves Himself over and over again to us; that He is All Powerful.

The Way He makes is always one that we did not see or even comprehend could possibly be there.

His Way is always all encompassing of all parties, to show His Glory, to prove He exists, to exhibit His Power and Majesty and Command of all creation.

Sometimes it is years later we look back at a problem we had and down through time and we see the work of His hands; how he solved the problem to bring about victory for us, how others came to believe, or hearts were softened, mountains, moved!

But, we recognize that only God could have moved that mountain or granted that miracle.

God just wants to show us that we should look to Him for all our needs; comfort, love, sustenance, financial, knowledge, wisdom, - everything.

We should go to Him in prayer and full communication in humble supplication, to allow Him to work on our behalf; to weave all the aspects of our life together for Good.

But if we still don't believe, He will prove in Heaven at the Judgement that He did everything to prove to us His existence and Diety but we refused/rejected Him.

All Heaven will agree our punishment is deserved.

Today, look inward and examine your life to see where He has made ways for you, loved you, comforted you and lifted you above the miry mess of your life.

Thank Him and humble your soul before the Throne of Grace and Mercy and speak to Him of your concern for your soul in eternity.

Ask for forgiveness and Salvation.

He is listening.

Prayer

Lord, thank You that You make a way where there seems to be no way in my problems. Help me to always go to You first and let You lead me through the trial.  You have the Power and I do not.  Amen.
