Am I Good Enough?
Friend, do you hesitate to commit to the Lord - to be a believer?
Are you standing on the sidelines and still ruminating about being a disciple of Jesus?
Do you read about Christ and not fully understand?
Do you think you must be perfect before He will accept you?
Have you done things that you know deep in your soul are so sinful, that there is no way a Perfect God would love you?
Do you feel unloved, unappreciated, misunderstood?
Are you depressed, melancholy, unbalanced?
Have you found a "religion" of violence, witchcraft, atheism, agnosticism, unbridled sexuality, scratching your way to the top, selfism?
Friend, there is nothing that can keep you from the Love of God, if you desire it.
If you don't want it, God will not force you and you can go on living in your own world, doing what you always have done and getting the same results.
If you want to feel loved, appreciated, wanted, then you make the choice to believe in Him and set out on that Path of seeking Him.
You do not have to be perfect. You will never be perfect enough. Only the Blood of Christ that He shed at Calvary covering you for your sins will make you perfect enough in the Father's eyes.
The way to get that Blood is to believe that the Father sent His Son to be the Sacrifice for your sins - to make you whole again - born again of the Spirit.
When you accept Jesus as your Saviour, you are born again into the Kingdom by the Holy Spirit.
God sees you as a new creature. He casts away your sins from you and remembers them no more. You will remember them, and satan will come against you to remind you of them, but you will know you are cleansed from them and that satan is trying to cause trouble and trials for you.
Friend, right now, you are good enough, do not go forward another minute in sin. Accept the Gift of Eternal Life from the Saviour who died for you to have a new life with Him as the head of it. Allow Him to be your Spiritual Advisor and the One who can lead the Way through the minefield of your past life, back into the Light of the Kingdom of God.
