Guard Your Heart

Friend, the Word of God is full of advice for our daily walk, and for the longer life journey we all hope is ours to have.

When we study His Word we find that it is important to guard our hearts.

The Knowledge we gain, the inspiration we get from the encouraging Scriptures, will all be used against us by evil, and our way will be blocked at every turn.

But if we guard our heart from the attack, never failing to believe God's Word, we thwart what evil has intended for us and God is able to work through our strong faith to bring about Goodness for us and those we pray for.

Jesus said, "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things." Matthew 12:35

Friend, we must store up good treasure in our hearts.

God's Word is good treasure!

Be not deceived, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galations 6:7-9

Put on the full Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11

The devil is a powerful being and has a vast army of demons at his disposal to do his bidding and that is to destroy believers in every aspect of their lives.

But, God is able to empower us, and He will protect us, but we must be willing participants with God in growing spiritually.

Weakness He can work with, as long as we are determined to believe in Him and give all our faith to Him.

He can make beauty from the ashes of our lives after the devil has ruined us, just so long as we put all faith in Him and believe in His Power and Might.

It's never over until God says it is over for the believer.

Just guard your heart for God from the evil one.

Be careful what you allow in to your heart.

Study His Word to grow in Godly Knowledge and to be able to stand Spiritually Upright; using God's Word against your foe just as Jesus did when He walked among us.
