Meditation Verse - Galations 5:22-24

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.  Galatians 5:22-24  KJV

Paul wrote to the believers in Galatia to dispel some error that had been surfacing within their group.

Here he conveys to them the attitudes they should be displaying towards those fellow believers and the surrounding population.

He says, when the Spirit is allowed access within us, we will have the "fruit of the Spirit", love for one another, peace in our soul knowing God is for us, longsuffering and gentleness towards others, goodness and temperance in our thoughts and actions, a strong and growing faith, and meekness or humbleness in helping others and doing God's work; teaching, praying, healing, testifying, helping others.

God is saying He approves of all these "fruits" when we exhibit them as coming from our heart with the Holy Spirit as our Guide.

Meditate on "Do I display the fruits of the Spirit?"

Prayer

Lord, thank you for the Holy Spirit who You  have given us as our Comforter/Counsellor. Help me to be available to Him so that He can  guide me into the fruits of the Spirit. I wish to be a practising Christian servant to the called.  Amen.
