Meditation

Scripture.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.  Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Proverbs 2:5-7

Solomon, the wisest of all kings, wrote these words and the Lord has given them to us for our edification today.

These Divine Words do not need embellishment. They are like a surgeon's fine scalpel that cuts and removes disease from the body.

These words should cut away all the ugly thoughts and desires we have and cleanse the wound with humbleness for our soul's ultimate purification and renewal.

Let these words work their divine purpose in your soul and spirit.  Begin to Trust the Lord.  Fall away from leaning on what you have learned in the flesh and begin to trust the Lord in all things.  He will direct your path if you acknowledge Him and give Him the place in your heart that is crying out to you for fulfillment.

We do not have Godly wisdom until we believe in God.  Up to this point we have worldly wisdom.  There is a vast difference between these two types of wisdom.

One seeks to please self and the other seeks to please God.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for your Wisdom.  Help me to love You with all my heart and trust in You.  I humble myself before You and ask for Godly wisdom to come into my thoughts. Amen.
