Satan Is Limited

It is we who give satan the power to destroy us.

Satan is not like God.

He is not omnipotent, omnipresent, or omniscient.

Satan depends on his army of demons to give the impression that he is like God with those qualities.

Satan is limited in what he can and can't do. Read Job to see the relationship satan has with God.

Who are the demons?

They are unclean spirits who followed satan, who placed their trust in him when he defied God. They were banished from Heaven by God and according to God's Law, they are being punished.

God says if we resist them, they will flee (for a time); it is continual resisting that we have to commit to.

That is a lot to imagine when we look at the future.

But God has made a Way for us, to be able to resist continually.

That Way is Jesus the Christ; belief in Him gives us the right to ask for His help and covering in all times of trouble, trials, distress.

The demons tremble when they come up against a faithful (to Jesus) person. A believer in Christ.

They too know of Jesus, the Father and Holy Spirit; and know of the Power and Majesty the Trinity of God have.

These demons know what the Scriptures say about them - that they are perishing; there is no hope for them.

They are just using up their alloted time.

They have been sentenced and God is carrying out the punishment upon them that His Law decrees.

They followed and fell with satan and are subject to the Judgement they were found guilty of, thousands of years ago.

They prey on humanity in order to obtain as many souls as they can to do their lackey work in Hell.

That's all we are to them, when we join in their songs and dances.

They make it sound like such fun; that hell will be a place of partying it up, full of fun and all the "things" we were asked not to do on earth by God in His Ten Commandments.

But friend, that is a lie. Full of deceit. It's not going to happen.

Last night I watched a documentary by an unbeliever who travelled to the Holy Land trying to understand Christianity and the Disciple/Apostle John the writer of Revelation: not the Author - that was Jesus.

But in his estimation Christianity is a fake and he just cannot reconcile his great mind with the lowly John's writings.

He actually spoke with some very Godly men. He visited many places held in high esteem by Christians, but his heart was not moved, nor his mind opened.

I felt very sad for him. I fear he will never know the Truth because he believes in his heart and mind that he has found it already.

Sadly too, he will have convinced many like minded souls that what they believe is true and they no longer have to search for Truth.

He did not go with an open mind.

He was searching for something to prove he was correct and he allowed himself to be deluded by his own thoughts.

The people he spoke to spoke Truth to him. I could hear the Truth in their words, but he could not. His ears were stopped up because he did not  have an open to receive truth, mind.

At the Judgement, he will not be able to point his finger at them in his defense. His hand will not move against one of God's people who spoke Truth, no matter how hard he tries to raise it.

Then he will know that Holy God orchestrated his life and gave him many chances to hear and see Truth, but his wicked heart would not allow his mind to take in the Message.
