Set Your Mind

03/22/2024 12:05

Friend, as believers we are exhorted in Colossians 3:1-2; to set our hearts and minds on the things above, not earthly woes, pursuits, and indulgences.

This is because, ultimately we all leave this earth, and the things of earth become not necessary, and have no meaning to us after death.

After our death, the soul is separated from the flesh, and the flesh decays or is burnt to ashes. But the soul is eternal and lives on.

And, the life on earth was used to separate believers from unbelievers, we find.

The devil likes to keep our mind occupied with the things of earth, guiding us into bad choices so we will suddenly be taken, and he will be waiting to claim our soul. This is the deceit of satan. This is what he does to the souls of men. God has allowed him access to us and He has given us a soul from Himself that ultimately does know He exists and is Good.

Why do we refuse Him? This is the real question we must ask ourself.

He will protect us as we journey through life when we give our allegiance to Him. The darts will be thrown but they will not wound us to death. They may hurt a little until we lean to strengthen ourself in Him and give the battle to Him.

Let all Glory be His so others may see He did the Good Work in us, not ourselves. Satan wants us to fight him hard and rely on our own strrength but that will not get us the soul victory!

God is warning us here to think on the things above. The spiritual, supernatural realm.

How do we get into The Kingdom of God to enjoy our new existence; after a life of living in the flesh?

We set our mind on the things above!

We set out on a new path.

We decide to find Truth.

We reject all deceiving paths, the luring of wealth, beauty, fame, fun, gifts and games designed to keep us occupied from pursuing our new goal.

We say "NO!" firmly, and stick with it, to all the things offered that go against God's Word in His Holy Bible.

We decide to read The Bible.

We decide to hear God out.

We decide to talk to God.

We decide to believe Him only.

We follow all His Fatherly Advice; knowing it is for our Good to do so.

For our Eternal soul's good.

We receive His Love and Care and grow in spiritual knowledge.

We become mature over the years in Godliness of character and being.

We accept His Son as our Saviour Redeemer.

We're thankful and full of praise for Father, Son and Spirit.

We help others to know The Path to Righteousness in God Almighty so they too, may be Redeemed back to Him.

A Glimmer Of Hope

Jesus Gives Us Hope - Jesus Wallpaper (28768008) - Fanpop

Friend, when we lose hope we become depressed and fearful for our life.

Those of us who have a difficult life journey are forgotten about by most of humanity who are chasing all the worldly things in order to be happy and content.

But even many of them, become filled with doubt about the actual happiness they are receiving. The things, the wealth, the friends, the lifestyle they've created, has not brought the satisfaction within, they thought would come with all the trappings of a bountiful life.

Friend we were created to have relationship with God.

When we don't; we feel empty and hopelessness begins to filter in. Material things can not give us the wholeness we desire within.

We see many "celebrities" today and even many from centuries past, who seemingly have everything that we would like to have; yet they decide suicide would be better than the hopelessness they are enduring in their soul.

But, God has told us; that His Mercies are new every morning towards us. He will forgive us every morning when we are in agreement with Him that He exists and is Sovereign; that He gave up His Son by Law to pay for us to be redeemed to Him.

God is not a liar so this statement meant to guide us and give us Holy Hope, is a fact and truth we can stand on.

The hole we may have dug or fallen into by choices made, is never too deep for our God to save us from.

He protected the three young Jewish men in the fire, He had a Plan and Purpose for Joseph when he was thrown into the pit by his brothers.

God has our best interests at heart; always!

We just have to acknowledge Him, and allow Him to teach and guide us.

There is only One Way for mankind, since the crucifixion of The Son of God.

God has made it simple.

He has said in the Courts of Heaven that mankind are sinners in need of a Saviour.

It has always been that we are subject to the Law of God.

Everything created has to be and is.

God is Perfect Holy Law. And He has set in Law that mankind cannot approach The Father without the Blood Covering of His Son's Sacrifice.

It should not be a big hurdle for mankind, but we have made it so. We want to believe everything satan says, or buddah, or mohammed; but these types are all manmade gods, not worthy of a capital to their name.

They are all concocted by man with the input of satan, to lull us into accepting them.

We cannot go before the Judgement and say, "But, I followed mohammed's teachings to the letter, or I lived a life of complete obedience to buddah, or I agreed with everything the elder in my tribe told me, and I "feel" I should be accepted by You."

That is never going to be acceptable to God.

All those rituals, ways, and beliefs, are like chaff in the wind. They were meant to entrap your soul into a lifetime of obedience to satan without you actually knowing it was him and his demons working in your mind.

They're proof you are a sinner!

Yet, God's Holy Spirit is here on the earth working with all mankind, to show them The Way. God wants none to perish, to follow after the manmade gods.

The Spirit convicts us in our minds and hearts that what we are about to do, see, think, choose to indulge, is wrong.

Always the conviction is there; for believer and unbeliever.

We build up ways to keep Him out; but eagerly allow satan and his demons in.

Eventually, we begin to feel hopeless; because we are caught in a tangled web we can't extricate ourselves from.

Friend, Jesus has His hand outstretched to us. We can recognise Him at a moment's notice, and He will come into our heart. He will Forgive us in Holiness; in fullness; all sins not counted against us anymore, with help to overcome our sinful nature for the rest of our lives.

We just need to surrender to His Lordship over all things He has created and owns.

Why not? Why is it so difficult to do? Do we love sin that much?

Hasn't sin caused us enough trouble? Didn't it almost kill us?

This is your glimmer of Hope friend!

Jesus sits on the Throne of Mercy and Grace but soon He will Judge from The Throne of Judgment.

Father Son Spirit and Mankind

03/16/2024 10:29

1 John 4:15 | Son of god, 1 john, Heavenly father

Friend, have you considered the connection between The Father, The Son, The Spirit, and mankind?

Do you understand that if mankind did not exist, The Triune God would still exist?

It's not the other way around like many humans believe.

We cannot make God go away!

But the most important contemplation must be on, Who God Is; for us to understand the connection.

As an unbeliever, an agnostic, an atheist; God asks us individually; to put these thoughts aside for a time, and think only on; Who can God be?

What type of Entity must God be, to be God?

Must He be Powerful? Loving, having no favourites? Creator Who holds all rights to all He has created? A Great Mathmetician, Musician, Wordsmith, Knower of thoughts, and the innermost workings of the heart, of all things?

The Giver and Sustainer of all Life?

Must He be the Maker of Law and the Judge of The Law?

Must He allow Free Will; and require all He has created, to stay within His boundaries, for their existence in the whole of Eternity; to have every Good thing? Peace, no sickness, no pain, completely whole and righteous in every aspect of being can be ours.

What are your thoughts?

What questios do you have?

Talk to Him. Ask for clarity.

His answers must be Holy Correct in all His dealings with you, correct?

He is not a liar.

So when the answer doesn't come as you would expect it to; who is correct?

It has to be God.

(He will start a good work in you; at the place He divinely ascertains is your soul's level of unbelief; and at what point of unbelif it must begin it's journey to Truth. Because He knows intimately all things concerning you - your bloodline, your upbringing, your thoughts.)

Mankind cannot know more than God.

It is best for our eternal existence, for us to align ourselves with Him.

To fight Him, or go against Him in any way, is to join up with His adversary; either willingly or unknowingly, for that concept is set in The Law.

The concept of man being subject to God their Creator, Who knows all things.

He is The Centre from Whom all Knowledge is contained. There is nowhere else for man to look. When we search for our own meaning, our own understanding, without having Him at the Centre of all questions, we unwittingly allow demonic beings to mislead us.

They are no better than us; only they know God exists. And that we deny His Existence. This unbelief of mind is actually a portal for them to enter and live in us. We are doomed and we need a Saviour! Demons are driving us in our shiny cars, in our alcoholic state, in the addictions, anger, bitterness and lusts, straight to Hell.

However, that adversary has none of the Qualities of God.

Satan cannot create; he cannot set Law.  Satan is subject to The Law, God.

He can give earthly "gifts" to lure and trap souls of mankind, but they will always be for the ultimate destruction of our soul; never for our soul's good.

When we come to the realisation that God does exist, we then can begin a true search for our own meaning in regards to God's Design, Plan, Story, His Will and His Ways.

We will find that He is a Purposeful God, always moving; never stagnant.

He shows us in the ponds of our lands, that when there's no movement, the clear water becomes stagnant, and the marshy smells from the breakdown of matter, begin to grow and spread.

This is a sign to us that everything must perform it's designated purpose for it's individual design and when it does not, there is decay; in mankind the worst decay is spiritual decay because it affects our eternal soul.

But when we place The Father at The Center of understanding, He speaks to us in many ways, words, images, visions and dreams; and He by His Holy Spirit shows our soul an image of His Beloved Son born as a babe to Mary and Joseph, crucified on The Cross of Redemptive Mercy and Grace and Him Resurrected, seated on The Heavenly Kingdom Throne, ruling  over all He has created with Justice.

The Father says to us; only though the Blood Sacrifice, death and resurrection of My Beloved Son may human souls approach Me; there is no other Way though which I will receive them.

God has spoken. Only by belief that Jesus paid the Law's Punishment of death, for unbelief; will mankind have a Righteous Way to be exonerated from The Law's sentencing and punishment.

God knows this is "The Problem" of mankind. Their hearts have grown cold. Some have been deceived. The generations of parental denial of God have destroyed many and they follow their ancestors to hell willingly; believing that culture is everything!

But God says we are all individual. Not one of us can save another. Our culture, tribe, nationality, rituals, our neutrality; all will condemn us, not save our soul!

But one of us can reach out and grab another's hand to keep them from drowning in denial; and speak to them of The Majesty of Their God; and The Way He has made through His Son.

If they're willing, then we can pull them to shore and point The Way to The Cross, where they must go alone and seek Him.

Jesus Is The Answer; The Way, The Truth and The Life.

Believers

03/13/2024 12:52

Romans 3:24 Ye are justified freely by His Grace, through the Redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

This Holy Scripture verse clearly states that unbelievers, sinners, can be justified, made righteous, by the Grace and Mercy offered by Christ's Death and Resurrection.

It is by this act; Jesus crucified on the Cross, that we may be Holy Redeemed; in full, wholly, purely in line with Holy Law.

Nothing can remove us from that Justification, but our own self will to give it up.

If we endure to the end, with Christ, we will enter God's Glorious Existence of Light and Life.

But if we turn away and follow after the only other alternative, evil lusts, greed, and all things against The Holy Law of God, we will suffer those consequences for ultimately we are still under The Law even if in disobedience.

This is why we are continually buffeted by evil.

They still, while we live, have a chance to lure us back into sin, away from our Lord and Saviour.

Jesus tells us to turn away from those wicked ways, and by His Spirit He will convict us, when we are temped to turn back to evil habits.

He will make a way for us to have the strength in body, and mind, but it is still up to us to choose because of the Free Will Gift from God for all mankind.

A true believer, will always choose the Righteous Path with Jesus.

Because it is not by any righteousness within us, that we were, or can be saved; it is always by His Mercy and Grace.

Grace Abounds

03/11/2024 12:32

Friend, we must examine our life from the point of view of our Creator.

Using no bias for oneself, we must be truthful and conscientiously judge our self; from the moral and Holy Scriptural stance; for that is our Law given to us by God.

If we are honest and harsh with self, we will find that we fall short of every expectation that a Good and Lawful Creator would expect of us.

Some questions to ask self are:

Am I a believer in One God ruling over all things with perfect Justice?

If this God exists and He created me, am I a fallen from His Grace creature because of my thoughts, actions and words?

If He exists, would I need someone to cover for me in a Court of Holy Justice? An Attorney, an Advocate, a Saviour Mouthpiece, a Brother, a Friend?

Or could I advocate for myself, debating with the One Who knows all things?

Is there such a person?

In Psalm 130:3-4 King David questions The Lord, from the point of strong faith and belief in Him "If Thou, Lord, should'st mark iniquities, O Lord, who should stand?"

Then David replies to himself and to The Lord, " But there is Forgiveness with Thee, that Thou mayest be feared."

In the centuries before Christ came to pay for The Punishment of sin, humans had no guarantee that they were Forgiven because they knew that the minute they received Forgiveness, they were immediately sinning again in thought, word, or deed.

They couldn't walk clean before The Law; sin was ingrained in them.

What if they died before they asked again for Forgiveness of that latest sin; perhaps they fell asleep and died having no warning for last minute prayers?

They lived in fear of what would become of them in the afterlife.

Now, since Christ came to save us; we have a guarantee when we accept His Sacrifice for us, and believe that He came as God in the flesh to make a New Covenant with mankind, that His One Time Payment would suffice for all of our sins, past, present and even future. We may live in continual repentance but we have the Assurance from God The Father; that He will accept us with the Blood of His Son covering us.

And by His Spirit He convicts us into repentance so that we are continually cleansed and renewed in that one drop that was shed for our soul.

The Spirit is our Teacher and Guide, our Counsellor and Comforter. He presents our prayers to Jesus in the Heavenly Language. He protects us from stumbling on the Righteous Path where Grace abounds.

There is Forgiveness in The Blood of God's Sinless Lamb who died on The Cross, and was Resurrected into Glory with The Father.

There Is A Way

03/10/2024 09:21

Friend, many of us are unhappy, brought down by the world, abandoned by family and friends.

But the things of this world are nothing compared to the things of The Kingdom of God.

There, all is Perfectly Good and harmonious.

There, all is Heavenly Light with no darkness anywhere.

There, is no sickness of mind or body.

How can man enter? We're so polluted with evil in everything we think and do!

But, God has made a Way.

It's the Only Way accepted by Him, for any earthly soul to enter into His Perfect Existence, after it's death in the flesh.

Because we want things our way, we cannot see the Way that He has made for us.

We're blinded by our own egos; our self.

We would like it to be through our own good works; works that we can excel in above our brothers and sisters. Works that will not only gain us acess to Him; but that will give us standing above others, in Heaven.

After all, isn't this how it works on earth. We recognise the highly skilled, educated, knowledgable, smart, brainiacs; the wealthy, the gathered worldly goods, the ostentatious homes, the bullet proof limousines, the named buildings, parks, and monuments.

God looks past those things. We can have them, He just doesn't accept them as proof of our love for, and acceptance of Him.

He is the Discerner most extraordinaire of the workings of our heart and mind.

Just as Jesus was when He walked upon the earth. He knew the hearts and minds of all the people. He spoke with Authority to the Pharisees and those who came asking for favour, about their inward thoughts and their outward words to Him.

Every Word in Scripture He spoke has great meaning. When God speaks, it cannot contain error so that man can play lawyer and twist it around to please his current state at any given time.

No, God speaks and it is for eternity and it stands infallible.

God is never wrong.

When we read His Word, and we have a question, we should start from that fact; God is never wrong.

We can be wrong and frequently are but never God.

He is Trustworthy; Unchanging, Perfect, Full of Truth.

There is no other like Him.

On the other hand, Satan is a liar, a cheat, a robber of souls, a destroyer of mind and body, a vicious serial killer of humans.

Satan runs a cruel and violent army of demons who seek our souls before we can come to know Jesus died for us; to free us from his grip.

Every day should be a day of great rejoicing for every human. Jesus came to save us. He wants to redeem us back to The Kingdom where His Father and He with The Holy Spirit reign in Power and Majesty over all they have created.

Satan and all his minions, are subject to Them. Evil has been defeated at The Cross. The Holy Blood shed by The Son has paid The Price, The Punishment has been meted out and Jesus steppd forward to obtain our release. After His death and before His resurrection, He received the Keys to Hell and Hades and went to Hell (owned by God) and released the captives from their Punishment, for He had just paid for it.

Today, we have a Saviour to believe in. He set us free too; we just have to accept it and honor Him as our Kinsman Redeemer.

He bought you and me with His Blood.

God Is A Big God

03/01/2024 11:42

Many people think God should be ignored; and many wish He didn't exist at all, but without Him, there would be no real God of Goodness, Life, Truth and Light at all, and nothing would exist including mankind. He holds all things together by His Law and Will to do so.

People think that if He didn't exist, we'd go on and have our Buddah type man made gods.

We should be thankful He does exist; if only for the fact that we exist.

Friend, God is a Big God and He has made things very easy for our collective understanding.

He, in the complexity of Himself, has given us a small slice of Truth to come into contact with, at some point of time in our lives; to begin the journey to understanding Him; to come into relisation by His Spirit, that He is Good and has a Plan and Purpose for each of us, as we live out our lives with minds to think in complex ways; given to us by Him - designed and created so.

The history of The Son, is an easy to understand view, but yet because of the enormity of Who He Is, just a tiny piece of data.

But it is enough to reveal our need for Jesus as Saviour and Redeemer of mankind.

If He revealed everything about Himself and what He has, and is creating, we'd never get to the point of what He desires us to know; because we no longer have lives of hundreds of years as in the past; for which to meander down into valleys and wander up into hills, dallying in daydreams to find the Truth.

It is more urgent now. His Son has shed His Blood for us - there's no excuse for not coming to God via The Son's Sacrifice; via The Cross, but God Himself has said; it is The Only Way He will accept a sinner into His Presence for Eternity with Him.

And let's not forget. We have fallen from man's colective state of Perfection; which He called Good in the beginning of mankind's creation, which was our God designed entry into this world for our souls and for His Purposes; Perfection.

The fall from Good required Holy Justice, because we had gravely broken The Law; having been created by Law, and therefore subject to His Law, which rules everythig He has created.

Yet we know this fact, that there is evil in the world. It is not Holy Good in the slightest.

Before we come to know Him through His Son, we have many ways of understanding our existence, we experience the evil in our fellow humans, and in the earth and all things pertaining to the earth; but we do not understand how we can extricate ourselves from evil.

All our deductions are based off our parentages. We believe we are perfect; but our parents, and their parents, all our ancestors, caused our present state of being and if not our parents, then society itself is pushing back at us.

We blindly forget what we are presently doing, to ruin future generation's (our children) existences.

Rarely do we think that we are the problem. If this or that would change, then we could change accordingly; is a popular thought process among humans.

But, GOD IS THE ONLY BIG GOD; the One True God above all. And He is Good, and only operates in Truth. He is Light; there is no darkness in Him.

He has given this informatin about Himself to us in His Word, The Holy Bible, through His Holy Spirit, and His Son; Who is The Word of God.

When this Great fact settles into our understanding, we can begin to sort out where we sit below Him.

Mankind is never above Him; nor equal to Him.

There is no accusatory question we can put to Him about how He creates, governs and exists; for He is Pure. (Holy.)

His Word has all the answers we need. He has said it is so, through His Spirit, to prophets and disciples who write the given from Spirit,  knowledge.

Does He love mankind?

Answer: He sent His Son to suffer the Holy Decreed Punishment for sin, on the Cross; so we could be redeemed back to Him, sinless, covered in Holy Blood which cancels out our sins.

Why weren't we created good in the first place?

Answer: We were. Adam and Eve were without sin and given instructions as to what they could and couldn't do; and what the punishment would be if they disobeyed God's command, "Do not eat of the fruit from the tree in the middle of the Garden."

Why did He give us free will; we could have been robots?

Answer: He created us according to His Will, and that was to make us perfect; with the ability to make perfect choices; and according to His Law of all He creates.

Through The Bible we can find Him. We can get to know His Character.

But we shouldn't read one passage and judge Him from our perspective on that one interaction with a human or humans.

The Bible as a whole gives us an understanding that resonates with our heart and mind. We begin to see Truth and Love from a Father who loves His wayward children; yet because of Who He Is, both Law and Love, Truth and Good, a Father who must let His children find their way in the evil infested world they wished to join when He gave them everything they needed in The Garden.

We're so corrupted that every thought is an idol of sorts, keeping us tied to evil.

Yet, The Father has made a Way which is easy to understand; The Cross and His Son, Jesus.

The Bible, simplified for those who say, "get to the point."
