Cannot Fool God

Friend, many humans justify themselves, to themselves and find this "mind justification", a way for them to go on throughout life; justifying all things to the mind, agreeing with their own thinking, beleiving they alone are the judge of their own actions and thoughts.

God says this is foolish and they only fool themselves!

This is what unbelievers do who have never had any connection with Christianity. Brought up in an atheist home; brought up not believing in any supreme being; never attending a Christian church; never experiencing prayer; never wondering what life is all about; just accepting that we live and then we die; nothing comes after this life!

Yes, many times others believe them; get fooled by them, and add to the credibility of the those who have fooled themselves into believing what they have "figured out."

Their numbers grow daily.

But, who is the foolish one?

Aren't we all really?

Let's look at the one who thinks he/she is fooling God.

The Bible tells us that God's thoughts are above ours. We cannot see what He sees. We have not set Law in place. We are not Holy in all our ways.

Friend, God cannot and never will be fooled.

He plumbs the depths of our heart and mind.

He is the owner of our soul, and it is He Who will judge the soul; what it did and didn't do while on the life journey on earth.

He has made known His Law within us.

We come equipped to know when we sin.

Tests, personal tests, trials, tribulations come and go; wars and strifes we collectively experience; disasters of flood, famine and fire beset us, all allowed by God.

How does God allow these things but not instigate them?

God is a King above all other kings which ever were and will be.

The Bible says satan is the Prince of the Power of the Air on this earth.

He has Power but is subject to God.

He can control with his power, allowed by God, whatever happens on this earth.

However, God limits him at times. He has to get permission.

God allows some things, knowing what satan is trying to do ( take souls from God) yet agreeing and also knowing He will make a Way, for all of us; yet only some will take The Way preferring to go their own way, which leads to satan culling their soul for his own purposes. They die in unbelief or live with bitterness and anger against a God who they do not believe in, but who "should have helped" them, not realizing that it takes a surrender to God's Sovereignity and Authority because satan has hidden this fact from them.

God in His Word shows us that He will make a sweet outcome for us if we allow Him, and do not allow satan, to overtake us.

In these times of commotion, calamity and disaster tragedies we should say, "enough of this please Lord of all things, help me a sinner who needs your Mercy, Grace and Forgiveness! I am weak and helpless and need Your Strength to get through this. Show me you are here with me! Deliver me from this lion's den, Almighty God! I am undeserving and unworthy yet Your Son has His hand outstretched to me like a brother. Help my unbelief and fill me with your Passion!"

This is where God will meet you and show you the Way, make a Way for you and deliver you from the clutches of satan. No longer will you be considered a lost soul under satan's command, but a born-again believer under the Great and Mighty Wings of the Trinity of God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

In these times of need we open our hearts to God and He will meet us there.

Before we were foolish enough to think we could play games with satan, and God allowed us the Free Will to do it because that is His Law which governs this world.

But when we call to Him in our sad state, our agony, our distress, He immediately answers because our heart is in the right frame for Him to respond; we have given up our free will!

No, we cannot fool God!
