How He Loves Us

04/14/2020 11:43

Friend, do you feel inherently unloved within yourself?

Are you lonely?

Scared of the future?

Lost and confused by life?

Not understanding of why you are here?

Can't find a friend?

Not able to connect with people?

Thinking no-one loves you?

Maybe you're unable to be loved?

Think/resigned, maybe you will never know love?

But friend, the day of remembrance of what Christ did for you has just passed!

Did you not hear of His Great Love for you?

Was Good Friday just another day for you?

Did the reminder of The Lord of All Things hanging on a Cross, make you snicker?

Have you brushed off all that He did for you and continued on not giving Him another thought?

Do you even understand why Christians remember this day and sing praises in His Name to Him?

Please, consider looking at the Cross with Jesus hanging there, nailed to it.

The face, we do not really know what He looked like, but the slash marks from the whip you will see.

The crown of long sharp thorns you do see.

The blood flowing from the wounds and the mark from the spear that was thrust into his side as He was dying.

We can imagine what the anguish, the pain must have been like.

He was tortured for our/your sins. He was speared for our/your sins. He was given the crown of thorns as mockery for His Kingship; when in fact He is The Almighty King who gave life and breath to the very men who punished Him.

He allowed them life. He knows the number of hairs on each one's head!

At any moment He could have spoken to the Father to be released from the humiliation, the punishment, and the hate,  anger and revenge that was unleashed upon Him for our/your sins.

Friend, He is the Answer to all our needs.

It is He Who Loves us.

It is He Who paid for all our sins knowing The Law was so Pure that none were blameless and therefore none other than He could pay the price for all.

He sees what the evil one (satan) has done.

Since His death which fulfilled the Law we have a New testimony.

In Old Testament times one could only be reconciled to The Father by living according to The Ten Commandments.

The Judge ruled guilty and innocent and punishment was meted.

Now we in New Testament times are granted the Right to have a New Testimony.

The New Testimony is as follows.

Satan accuses those who believe in what Jesus has done for them and have agreed with Him to follow Him, and satan gathers to himself, those who deny Jesus.

At the Judgement satan will be our accuser and for those of us who believe, Jesus our Saviour Attorney will step forward in our defence.

Jesus will address The Judgement seat and claim the believer as one of His and that one will be saved from Just Punishment because Jesus has already paid the price for that soul's sin during it's lifetime on earth.

Friend, this is cause for celebration!

All your sins can be washed away, remembered no more by God because He sees the Blood of His Son, covering us.

Walk to the Foot of The Cross.

Kneel, look up at Him and weep your tears for the sins you have committed against Him, for He is Law, and every sin no matter how small is first aginst Him.

Admit you're a sinner.

Ask for His Grace and Mercy to cover you.

Talk to Him.

There's nothing He doesn't know about you.

Then, be silent and listen to your thoughts and hopefully you will hear His still small voice saying "I did it for you. I love you. I am your friend. Follow Me."

Spend as much time at the Cross as you need and return often to talk with Him.

We never want to be that one whom He says to, "I knew you not!"

Better to have a Friend in Jesus.

Better to call Him, Saviour.

Better to know His Love, freely given.

Better to relieve our earthly problems with His Word because it speaks Pure Truth to our hearts and minds.

Better to have the knowledge that even if we sin again and try our best to overcome with His Power, He will forgive us freely because we initially accepted Him in Truth and Love.

Better to accept all the Wonderful Holy Promises He offers to us in the Holy Spirit inspired Bible.
