It's All Spiritual

Friend, a life of spiritual fulfillment is much to be desired.

When this is achieved we're able to live in the world of chaos in perfect peace.

We may be attacked, we may suffer harm to our body and our things, but our mind is still ours. Our heart is still ours.

God designed us this way.

1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God, overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

God has designed us to overcome the evil of this world. Apostle John tells us that it is our faith in God which gives us the victory. When we draw near to God in faithfulness, He helps us overcome the sinful habits we have developed, and the trials we face because of the sin in our lives, and in our world.

John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me, ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Apostle John tells us we can have peace in this world even though tribulations will come. The peace he speaks of is given to us through Christ who shows us how to overcome in this world.

1 John 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the Love of the Father is not in him.
1 John 2:16
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

John understands and advises us to not love the world to the exclusion of God, nor to love the things man has devised for his own pleasure. If we love any thing more than we love God there is no room for God. God must come first for us to have peace.

John 18:36
Jesus answered, My Kingdom is not of this world.
John 17:16
They (believers in Jesus) are not of this world, even as I Am not of this world.
1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he (satan) that is in the world.
1 John 5:19
And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

The three Scripture verses above show us that God has a place away from this world, which He calls "My Kingdom." Jesus made a Way for us to join Him in His Kingdom after this life is done, when He went to the Cross to pay for our sins.
All we have to do is thank Him, know we are Forgiven; that He paid the price once and for all and then follow Him through the One He sent to help us, The Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 1:27
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

In Corinthians The Holy Spirit's Word enlightens us. He says that God chooses people who the world calls foolish ( believers in The Christ, Jesus), which confounds those who consider themselves wise of the world's ways. And He further advises us that God chooses the weak in the world ( broken down and discarded by the world) to confound those who are strong and mighty in the world.

But, friend, those of us who love Jesus and are weak, having no power in this world, God chooses us, to give testimony of Him!
The weak and broken people will hear a clear call from God when we speak. The powerful and mighty who cannot humble themselves to Him, will not hear His Voice through us.
He knows how hard their heart is towards Him.

Matthew 13:49
So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just.

Friend in Jesus, when God declares "it is done" we the believers still alive on earth, will be separated from the unbelievers. We will have no more dealings with them.

Oh happy day!

Mark 8:36
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

The Disciple Mark asks us how we will be profited, if we live in the world and do not stay in a relationship with Jesus, because it is hard at times.
We must never forget that the world hated Jesus and the world will hate us. But it is for a short time, and with the Lord's help, we can have inner peace and joy that the world knows nothing of.

1 John 4:9
In this was manifested the Love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

Friend, John tells us this spiritual fact; God has shown His Great Love for us by sending His only begotten Son into this world as a baby, to experience all we have experienced; to live as we do, to eat, to seek shelter and to know our daily needs and to be hated; wrongly accused, arrested, beaten, tortured and crucified unto death. God also shows us that He resurrected His Son and offers us a new life with Him just as His Son has now, sitting on the Throne at The Father's Right Hand, interceding for us as we pray. God says He has grafted us into the Royal Line as brothers and sisters of Christ. For we have suffered too, but we have believed and loved Father, Son and Spirit never tossing away our belief, but overcoming the world by living a spiritual life, and testifying to others of His Great Love.

Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

1 John 3:13
Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

John 14:17
Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
