Our Center

03/03/2020 12:27

Friend, Jesus must be the center of our life.

He is asking you kindly if you will have Him take up His rightful place at the center of your heart.

It is up to each of us to allow Him to guide and teach from the throne of our heart.

Are you doing this?

It's simple, not complicated at all, and the benefits are amazing.

We choose to trust Him, and He will show us He is worthy to love, and worthy for us to walk closely with Him.

There must be silence in the mind and relaxation in the body or the strifes and work of the world will drown out the still small voice of the Lord.

We must be willing to give up all our world ways and allow Him to fill us with something beautiful from Him.

He is not clamorous, He does not strike us in anger, He speaks in kindness and love even when chastising us.

These are our days now while living, of finding Him through searching and seeking, of learning about Him, of deciding to follow Him.

Soon enough the Judgement will come.

We will then see the Lord's Power and Might displayed in Righteousness, when the Great Judgement takes place.

We will see as if through His Eyes and will agree with His Judgement even if we are sent to Hell.

Then, we will know that we were either covered in the Blood of the Sacrificial Lamb, or whether we were wilful and against God.

The Great White Throne Judgement will come to those who were classed as believers, and their reward or lack of, will be known to all, also.

But, we can know before we die which Judgement we will face.

Friend, we need to be at the White Throne Judgement of the believers.

During our days here on earth after we have been Redeemed, we may have times of "dryness."

We may stray away from a close relationship with Him.

Good tines of plenty can draw us away, as we live for having fun of the earthly kind.

Also bad times may come upon us of loss, sickness and grief.

We may stop communicating with our Lord.

But friend, we must develop a practice of recognizing when the Spirit pricks our conscience, to remind us we are straying from the center where Christ abides.

The Holy Spirit does The Shepherds work too. He runs after us, the saved sheep, and tries to get us to turn around and go back to the sheep's fold where we will be safe. Where we will be fed and our thirst quenched with the Word and care of Jesus.

Why make it hard work for our Lord and The Holy Spirit who work tirelessly to find the lost and bring them back to God?

We the saved and redeemed must settle into the fold; grow on the Word and become testifiers of God's Love and Forgiveness, Mercy and Grace so we become able to feed and water the lost sheep who are hurting and confused.

Friend, God's sheep are among us, living and going about their daily lives.

God knows where each one is and loves and cares for them as if they were the only sheep He had.

He wants us all to be His sheep. Every person on the earth, He desires to turn to Him and follow Him out of the mess of their lives.

He knows the Way out.

It doesn't matter how deep into the muddy depths they have gone. He will reach out and rescue them when they call out to Him in earnest.

When the cry of their heart reaches His heart He cannot deny that one.

In the New Testament (Luke 8:43-48 ) there is an account of a woman who had suffered all her life with an infirmity of the body and she was desperate, having seen all healers to no avail. In a crowd jostling for Jesus's attention, she reached out to touch the hem of His garment in her belief that He could heal her.

Jesus stopped and asked, " Who touched Me?  Somebody hath touched Me, for I perceive that Virtue is gone out of Me."

The woman came trembling and falling down before Him. She declared to all the crowd that she had, and why, and now she was healed immediately.

Jesus said to her, "Daughter be of Good Comfort, thy faith hath made thee whole. Go in peace."

This same Jesus is available today for you!

Make Him the Center of your life.

You won't be sorry.
