God's Desire for Human Beings

Friend, we hear that God wants to work in us; and yet many people do not understand how He works in us.

Some wonder if God wants to take over the body and not allow the person to live the life they want.

Many think it will be joyless and dull to surrender their will to God's Will.

No, friend, God wants His Holy Spirit to lead and guide us into Salvation; which is to receive Godly Forgiveness.

And He wants the Spirit to teach us about Him, and experience His Love.

To do this, God needs for us to release our body, mind and will to Him.

To do this we have to trust Him and believe in Him with a strong faith.

Knowing He is Good and full of Truth, helps us to surrender to One Who sees all and knows all.

The Joy He places within us, Wisdom we acquire, and the Love and Forgiveness we receive, more than make up for the worldly joy.

Infact our worldly joy is even more beautiful with Holy Joy.

There's an extra dimension of God's Love to experience in all our daily happenings.

In Romans we read the following... I urge you therefore brethren, by the Mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

The Spirit says to us that God is Merciful when we allow Him His Way regarding what we do with our body, mind and will.

He says it is acceptable to God when we say to Him, "Lord, help me to control the lusts, addictions, cravings, listening to other voices, which come throughout my day that I know are temptations from the evil one."

God will help us to repel those evil temptations that threaten His Kingship and our walk with Him, when we ask and allow Him to help us overcome.

He is full of Grace and offers it new to us each morning, forgetting the previous days when we stumbled along the Path and sinned, even sometimes wilfully.

The Bible goes on further to say...And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the Will of God is, that which is Good and accceptable and Perfect.

Yes here we learn to not conform to the way of the world because it is filled with evil: every good thing the Lord has provided has been corrupted by evil.

God urges us to be transformed from the sinful lifestyle of this world by renewing our mind with Godly things; His Word, and following after His Will concerning us. Renewing our mind from the old beliefs to the new realization that Jesus His Son, died so we may be free from the chains that bind us to evil. Reading His Word, to learn of Him, His Love for us and His Power over all things. Surrendering our will to His Will; knowing He cares for us and will always be working things out for His Good; which should be what we want.

When we do this, we will become Good in His Sight and our surrender and overcoming in Him will prove to all Heaven and earth that He is Holy.

We just need to yield our body, mind and will to Him on a daily basis.

Every morning we should tell Him that we yield our body, mind and will to Him for the day and for always.

Throughout the day, when evil lures us, we will be reminded of that yielding to God in the morning hours, and be able to speak to the demon, " Be gone, I have yielded to the Holy Spirit, in the Name of Jesus, Son of God."

As time goes on it becomes easier and easier to yield, to obey and to repel demonic forces, because we begin to see God's Hand at work as we walk on the Godly Path.

We begin to see evil for what it is also.

It works behind facades, wears disguises, speaks lies, tries to enslave, blames others, entices and lures us into all manner of evil schemes and ways that are abhorrent to God.

It gets easier and easier to recognize evil as it presents it's latest temptation. We see the strings attached to the "pretty picture" that is offered to entice us.

It may be something as simple as a piece of cake that we know we shouldn't have for health reasons, or using foul language that denigrates us and those around us, or watching, reading or listening to something that is not uplifting to the spirit, but ensnares the soul into bondage, consuming mind altering substances that take us away from Godly learning, and rob us of peace while hurting those we love.

The list goes on and on of what evil has planned and devised for us to keep us from knowing God and experiencing how Good and Beautiful and full of Truth and Wisdom our God is.

The Spirit will give us the help we need for each circumstance when we are yielded to God.

If we are not yielded, then the Spirit is blocked because of our free will.

God will not overstep the boundary that He put in place when we were given life on this planet.

That of free will.

The Bible says this about our free will gift, that all things are lawful, but not all things are expedient.

Because of our free will gift we have the ability to try all things, ideas, etc but God desires we know Him and His Law; and when we do know Him and His Law, we realize, that not all those things are good for us, and He desires we obey His Law and not our own will.

One leads to Eternal Life and the other to Eternal Death.

It's our choice.

We will not be able to win the argument that evil "made me do it."
