So Much Fun
Friend, this world is so deceitful!
Satan has devised a world that we love.
We love a "good time" and we believe we are born to be "happy" all the time.
But friend, what the world offers is not lasting.
People go out to clubs, bars and niteclubs to "get wasted" and "enjoy" themselves.
It's true much enjoyment can be had undertaking these enjoyments; screaming, yelling, getting "out of control" are all part of the enjoyment.
Yet why are these people not happy?
Why after 5 to 10 years do they want to get out of that lifestyle?
It's not just growing up or becoming more adult.
No, it was a choice to do it, and a choice to continue to do it, and it has to be a choice to stop.
But, sometimes one cannot stop because the substances one used have become addictive.
Well all that fun is a big fictional "life" that satan and his minions have devised to entrap us.
It isn't fun anymore!
It's hell!
But Jesus is always there holding out His hand to us.
Satan doesn't want us to know that we have a way out. He works hard in our minds to convince us that there is no God and Jesus was just a man.
Satan does not want you to read the Bible. He doesn't mind if you go to church because he will tell you that the preacher is after your money, he's a fool and all the believers are idiots.
When in actuality the church is a Hospital for lost and damaged souls where some who have been saved and cured work to serve others who are just like they were once.
Satan doesn't want you to believe in Hell because it is the Truth.
He knows it is a hell like nothing on earth.
If we knew what satan knows, only the truly evil would join him.
And God knows this and is waiting for all those of good heart to hear Him calling to them through the written word, through songs of Hope and through the reading of His Word in The Bible.
True happiness is found in knowing we have been Forgiven, that we are saved and set apart from the evil in the world. When that happens, Jesus through the work of the Holy Spirit, begins to renew our heart and mind. When this happens we become grateful and realize that we have been extended Mercy and Grace.
Holy Joy fills our soul and spirit when we know we have this Priceless Gift.
This is the Happiness we have been seeking.
Satan and his demons waylaid us when we were vulnerable and we became sinners with him. We partook of much he had to offer and we loved it; looking down on our fellow man, using and abusing ourselves and others.
However at the same time, the Holy Spirit has been at work trying to touch our heart, reaching out according to God's Law and Will to our soul.
Perhaps you've had an encounter with God already but if not, know that God loves you and is waiting and hoping to reach your stubborn heart before your allotted time is up.
To connect with God all we have to do is put on the humble robe, bow before His Majesty and speak to Him in sincerity.
He will meet us right there in that moment.
