That One Sin

Friend, we have all heard of "that one sin" that God will never forgive.

Believers know what it is, but need not worry.

Even though a Christian struggle against the sin in their life, they do not have to be concerned about being denied by Christ in the afterlife because they have not "grieved the Holy Spirit."

Yes, that is the "one sin" that Christ will not forgive.

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit, friend.

This in common terms, means to "not accept the Spirit's leading", to "deny the Good Intentions" in your life, and to "cause grief to Someone Who has the Purest Loveliest Intentions towards you in all He does."

The Word of God tells us that He gave the Spirit to us after He ascended to the Throne, so that the Holy Spiirt would guide us to Himself, (Jesus the Christ) Who had just been crucified for our sins.

The Spirit came into the world to stay with us, and point the Way to Jesus. John 14:26a

He works night and day to guide, direct, reveal and teach us about Jesus and what He did for us.

He is the Revealer of Christ and is at work around all of us at all times.

He goes into the darkest places with us and calls to us to stop, turn around.

When we feel down, He is there, we just need to acknowledge Him

But, we are a rebellious people, we love to deny Him.

Keep our backs turned to Him.

Want to do "life" ourselves.

We'll actually pay other fallen humans (psychologists etc.) to help us when we can turn to the Spirit for free.

And He allows us to!

He will not stop us, when we have decided to leave our Saviour out of the equasion, but He will not stop trying to point us in the right direction.

Do you find yourself thinking of spiritual things, of Jesus, of God, of the Cross?

What about looking back over your life and being astonished at a new view of the mistakes you have made?

Or, have a feeling that you need to make changes, an emptiness inside?

That is the Holy Spirit - God calling to you to stop and listen to Him!

We seek and search everywhere in hopes of finding fulfillment, but we deny the Spirit Who says to us, "Jesus, died for you, He loves you. Your punishment is paid. Come home."

God says we should be fulfilled and joyful because He has made a Way, where before there seemed to be no way through the quicksandy roads we have trudged through only to find ourselves lost, not knowing the Way back or which way to turn.

Only His Way will bring us the peace in our soul we are looking for.

He died so we could call ourselves free from the clutches of satan whose evil wicked ways haunt our every step..

Once we accept Jesus as Saviour, satan has no dominion over our lives except what we give to him.

He is able to test us with trials but God is Greater and when you have Him in your heart and mind, you will not fall into temptation. You will call on Jesus and the Holy Spirit to help you, and you will get the help you need according to God's Will, tailored especially for your soul and the sin you have in your life

Just as Jesus was tempted in the desert before He began His three year ministry, we do not live by the things of this world, but by the Word of God that fills us and gives us (Holy) Purpose in life.

Do not delay, friend!

Dust off that old Bible that has been sitting around and open to Matthew, the first book of the New Testament and begin to read what each of the Disciples has to say. You will hear many things that will enlighten your mind and warm your heart.

Don't grieve the Holy Spirit any longer.

Cause all Heaven to jump for joy and celebrate when you turn to Jesus and thank Him for paying the price for your sins.
