Voices and Choices

Friend, start agreeing with the Word of God, The Holy Bible.

If at any time; and there will be times; we are struggling through a trial or tribulation, we must do what God instructs us to do in His Word.

We must search for His Answers in His Word; test those voices in our minds to see if they are from God. Or are they our own thoughts, tinged with the will of satan and his army of demons, that seek to destroy us?

There're old cartoons depicting a man or woman with a little angel on one side whispering in the ear, and on the other a little devil with pitchfork whispering in the other; showing us that these two concepts of good and evil are constantly striving to win our mind over to their domain.This is an accurate depiction of good and evil warring for our attention.

The best thing for us to do is to get to know God's Word so it is placed in our hearts, giving us the ability to recall by the help of the Holy Spirit, the verse that pertains to our current dilemma.

Are we afraid, lonely, sad, hurt, discouraged, depressed, unemployed, sick, dying, suffering loss through death, stuck in poverty?

We need to be able to say "Thy Word have I placed in my heart." "Thy Word have I placed in my heart." "Becasue I am yours, no weapon formed against me shall prosper." " You are my God and You are Mighty to save me from this problem."

For our own good, God asks us to train our mind by reading His Word; becoming familiar with the working of the Mind of God, so that we can discern with the help of the Holy Spirit, the Way to go forward.

God wants us to lean on Him.

He sent His Son, Jesus to make a Way for us and it has been accomplished. 

He, Jesus, made a Way according to God's Law that is immovable - (no loopholes.)

The Law says we are sinners. We need a Saviour. 

He has come and fulfilled the Law.

We have a choice to make!

Do we love the world (satan) or do we love God?
