Memorizing Scripture Verses For Encouragement

Friend, it is paramount for the believer to memorize some Holy Scripture Verses.

When we memorize the Word of God, it is placed in our heart; and our mind is easily able to bring it forward at any time to give us Hope and encouragement, comfort and counsel.

You won't need expensive "helpers" in this life, to hear Truth.

Here are some verses to memorize.

Deuteronomy 3:22
Do not be afraid of them; the LORD your God Himself will fight for you. (God fights our battles if we allow Him to. )

Deuteronomy 31:8
The LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. (The Lord will not forsake us.)

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. (Don't be discouraged, God is with you wherever you go.)

Psalm23:4                                                                                                                                                                                                             Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. (He is the Shepherd with Rod and Staff to correct and guide us, onto the Righteous Path.)

Psalm 27:1
The LORD is my Light and my Salvation - of whom shall I be afraid? (God is Light and Truth, we cannot lose our way when in the Light and Truth.)

Psalm 71:5
For You have been my Hope, Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth. (He is our Hope and we can have confidence in that.)

Psalm 119:76
May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to Your promise to Your servant.
( God's Love is unfailing.)

Proverbs 3:24
When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. (God is with us even when we sleep.)

John 3:16
”For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (God sees our value and allowed His Son to be a Sacrifice for our sins.)

John 14:6
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” (Jesus is the Only Way.)

Romans 6:23
”For the wages of sin is death, but the Free Gift of God is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  (For our sins we deserve eternal death. We were purchased for a Great Price.)

Romans 8:28
”And we know that for those who love God all things work together for Good, for those who are called according to His Purpose.” (God is calling- have I answered?)

Galatians 5:16
”But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” ( Stay close to God and the Spirit will help us.)

Hebrews11:6                                                                                                                                                                                                           And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. (Faith is everything. Do not lose it.)

Psalm33:18                                                                                                                                                                                                      “Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love" ( God is watching us. There is nothing He does not see.)

Jeremiah29:11                                                                                                                                                                                                                        “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a Hope. (God has Good Plans for us.)

Psalm119:105                                                                                                                                                                                                          “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a Light to my path.” (His Word Lights the Righteous Way.)

Psalm119:11                                                                                                                                                                                                                        "Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee.”  (Fill your heart with His Word so He may speak them to you in times of need.)
