A Healthy Soul

Friend, God wants us to have a healthy soul.

He wants us to live an abundant life.

He wants us to be filled with joy.

He wants us to be wise, kind, compassionate and loving.

There is a Purpose for us living on this earth that is higher than we know.

In His Word, He says we see as if through a glass darkly, but when on the other side, we will see clearly.

He has designed things this way for a Holy Reason that works in Perfect Unison with His Will and Law.

It is not for us to know, yet we go on meandering paths away from His Will trying to find what is behind the "glass darkly."

Oh how foolish this is.

It amounts to not trusting Him and to what He has declared, will be our "lot in life."

King David says in Psalm 119:161b-163

My heart stands in awe of Thy Words. I rejoice at Thy Word like one who finds great spoil. I hate and abhor falsehood, but I love Thy Law.

Friend, this is what God wants to hear from us.

Study His Word to become familiar with Who He Is and what His Law is.

I have found Him to be Good and His Law to be Perfect in every way.

But we each have to search and seek on our own because He is in the searching with us.

He meets us where our deepest doubt and need are.

He reveals Truth and Love, binding up old wounds, applying Holy Healing Balm.

Meditate on His Word with a seeker's heart and mind; searching for Knowledge and Wisdom, and you will find the Truth.
