Faithfulness is Everything

Friend, we are often reminded to be faithful to God in order for Him to bless us or help us.

God speaks much about faithfulness in His Word; The Holy Bible.

Many of us, when we do not see the blessings, we think we should have, or are genuinely asking for, not appear, we can feel as if God doesn't love us or He is never going to help us in the way we desire.

But, oftentimes it may be we are not faithful to Him.

Perhaps we are wilfully continuing to sin in the sin we repented of when we became a believer.

Maybe we aren't making the effort to chastise our flesh and we are engaging in continual sin of that nature; alcohol, drugs, overeating, using anger and violence, being a thief or robber.

One of the reasons we are not hearing from God is we are not reading His Word, therefore we are not growing in Godliness.

Another is we may not be approaching God in the correct manner/ our words may be misleading.

Even another is the sincerity and genuineness or vulnerability may be insincere and not touch the heart of God.

Perhaps He is answering but we are not responding to the first step He relayed to us; not receiving His answer in other words.

Here's some thoughts on faithfulness that may help or encourage us.

Resting in what provision He has given to us, and daily thanking Him for those things, by listing them off with a joyful heart even if the tears come.

Realizing that even though we do not see Him; that He sees us and cares for our well-being.

Speaking to God about His Son, Jesus and voicing our thoughts on why we believe in Jesus, and how we feel about The Son Who died on The Cross so we could have Eternal Life and not eternal death.

Searching out the Bible ( googling KJV version acceptable) and making a list of God's Promises to us.

Knowing that Jesus loves each believer; that we are not lower than our believing neighbour nor are we higher.

Allowing God the time He needs to work on our situation, because He has many persons and lives to work with, within our earthly problem, to bring about His Perfect Work. God's timing, not ours.

Remembering to never panic when things get down to the last minute.

Knowing God can and will put His finger in the broken pipe when He sees it necessary; we mustn't give up, just praise Him in the darkness.

Thanking God for the bad times, the mean people, the illness or whatever it is that besets us because we know we are just "going through" a problem and He will bring us out the other side in one piece, changed, and cleansed from that infirmity.

Having faith in the Holy Trinity and all the factual evidence in the Bible; never doubting God.

Faith is loving Him as He Loves us.
