Hiding from God

Friend, we all hide from God in some way.

Many of us create strongholds, barriers and facades built of strong defiance, strong disagreement, strong unbelief, strong selfishness, strong physical and or mental stamina of resistance to anything about God, Godliness, Jesus, The Holy Bible, Christianity, Pastoral Scholars and Leaders and churches.

But friend, we're only hurting ourselves. Our soul and spirit is denied it's birthright.

What do we think will happen to us if we enter a church, befriend a Christian, listen to sermon, say a prayer, bow our head when others are praying, speak about the questions we have about Who God Is?

Will we be caught in a net that we cannot extract ourselves from?

Will we be brainwashed into Christianity?

Will we have to give up all our sinful practices?

Will we lose family members, friends?

Will our will become as nothing?

Will be we be embarassed?

Will we change?

These are just some of the questions that run through our brain.

All deserve to be answered.

But for each of us it is a different combination of questions and therefore different answers.

Many have gone down rocky roads from the main Path. We've gotten stuck in the briars and brambles along the evil path; every squirm to free ourselves is met with prickles and skin piercing stabs. 

We can see we're rolling forward, away and far from the Path but to roll forward almost seems better, than extricating ourselves and crawling back up to the Path.

But, how brave and how fierce and how strong willed must that one be who decides to choose the Way that Jesus has made for us to be on the Path.

This is what draws our Lord to us when we want to get away from the evil Path. 

It is the strong desire; passion if you will, to leave all "that" behind and follow after what God has shown us in our spirit; Knowledge, Wisdom, Truth, Love, Forgiveness, that He is Trustworthy, that He is all Powerful, All Knowing, and in charge.

Once we come to the stage of repentance for the choices we have made and we recognize God and His Son, we immediately receive a sense of Freedom.

It is indescribable until one actually experiences it.

Friend, let now be the time when you stop hiding from God.

Come out into the open if you can, and receive all He has for you.

If you are so trapped that there is no way for you to extricate yourself, and you want to be free, all you need do is to speak to Him in truth. 

Ask for His Help. 

Tell Him you need Him, and do not have any interest in the sin you are trapped in, anymore.

Friend, a repentant heart will receive all it needs from Him, according to His Will, Law and Power.

Hide no more. 

Be a free soul on this earth.

Walk with Him through the consequences of what your past choices created.
