Life After Death
Friend, this is a time when humans do a lot of thinking about what would happen to them, family and friends, should they die from the Corona Virus or any other disaster.
It is a time when we lose people close to us or people we know even casually and wonder about life and death.
On social media we see many people posting their need for prayer.
Some are scared and anxious, others worried for loved ones.
Many are not believers in any God, but ask Christians for prayer, for themselves or loved ones when they are struck with the virus.
Is there an inherent inner knowledge that the God of the Christians listens to His people and acts?
Have they heard of healings, and miracles for believers in The Almighty God?
Do they know someone who once was an unbeliever and now is a believer they have seen change into a kind, decent, human being?
Have they heard prayers lifted up to the Saviour Jesus and been moved in their spirit?
Do the songs of praise to God speak to their souls?
Some or many of these things may be one of the causes, but the Word of God, Jesus Himself, tells us that there is a place in each of us that is His Throne; where He is waiting for us to invite Him to take up His Rightful place from where He guides and directs us onto the Righteous Path to Eternal Life.
It’s our choice.
We can choose Him or not.
He gives us the Gift of Free Will, so no entity ever will be able to say that He is a Dictator.
No, He is a Benevolent God; Just in all His ways and Holy, Pure and Intelligent above all others; full of Love, and He is Beautiful beyond our imaginations.
Any person, man, woman, child, aged, infirm; all people have this Right to choose Jesus.
Choose ye whom ye shall serve!
No matter your belief system; you have the Right to choose.
Do not be held for ransom willingly by evil!
He will not rescue you if you do not want to be rescued.
At any moment the mind can follow the heart and you can know Jesus.
Just speak to Him.
The Great Gift of Eternal Life is awaiting you!
You may have years yet to get to know Jesus or you may have seconds.
None of us know!
But Apostle Paul told us:
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with The Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8
Paul states here to the believers, that when we are absent from our body we will be present with the Lord.
These are Holy Spirit inspired words. Paul is confident when he states this. It is a fact!
Life after death exists.
It is a Great Mystery what happens to us after we die, but the Bible is firm in telling us that we live in a different body type, and we are a citizen of The Kingdom of God.
This means our soul lives on and we also realise that the Kingdom of God is all that we see and all that we do not see now in this body.
It’s all about choosing, friend.
We must act.
Jesus acted when He chose to make a Way for us to not receive the punishment of eternal death for our sins; which all are against God & Law.
He acted when He knew we were sinners through and through.
He knows all He has created.
He could have said while suffering on the Cross, “Not her (me). I do this for all others but not that one.”
I certainly deserve that.
But He didn’t.
He died in the flesh to pay the price for our sins!
He took on every punishment for all your sins, past, present and even future
Not His; He is sinless.
He included me and He included you.
Now, will you choose Him because He chose you?
Or are you going to continue denying Him to your last breath?
Life with Him after this life is going to be amazing no matter what He has waiting for us.
Its that simple.
We must have faith that He is a Good God, because He has proven Himself to us.
