Losing someone

Friend in these times of isolating ourselves from others and hearing of so many dying alone, it is very sobering as we wonder what is going on in the world and what if we ourselves come to the end of our life.

Many have lost loved ones worldwide during this pandemic.

But my mind is always centered on Jesus, and hoping that those who are passing on, have had an encounter with Him so that I can rejoice for their real homecoming in the Kingdom of God.

It is appointed once for man to die says the Bible, Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Yes, that day of death will come for all of us. We can't escape it. There is a time in the future when a rapture of God's people will take place but we do not know the time. For now, we die in the flesh. Then, we are changed in an instant to a spiritual body and rise to meet Christ when He returns in Great Glory with those who died in Christ before His Second Coming.

Makes one think about what is waiting for us on the other side.

For those of us who have faith in Jesus, we know where we will go; but for those who do not know Him as in being born again of the Spirit of God, it is not the same story.

Many of us go through life distracted from the Knowledge and Truth of God.

It is our choice to do so.

But friend, it is time to look into faith.

Who is God?

It is wise to realize that only a Holy, Almighty, Powerful God is the One Above All other man-made gods who are nothing but stone figures and wood carvings of half man and animals; or a star, sun, moon of the heaven that was created by the One Almighty God.

Better to think about the Creator God who created our species, and has a vested interest in us to be Righteous like Himself.

By giving us a free-will choice to make our own choices He has trusted that we will always choose Him if we love Him. These are the people/souls/spirits He wants to be spending time with.

Many have been good people; doing good things but living a good life is not the same as being a Holy person.

None of us on this earth are capable of attaining Holiness by ourselves.

Everyone of us is tainted by sin through deeds, thoughts, seeing, hearing, speaking.

He is Holy and we need to be made Holy to enter Heaven.

He won't force any of us to love Him, accept Him or have faith in Him.

That would make Him unholy, a dictator, evil.

It must be if He still desires to know us, that we must choose Him with a heart of desire and love for Him wanting to please Him, ready to learn about Him.

But is that enough?

No.

He decided to make a Way for those in that state of mind.

God decided to come to earth and pay His Punishment in full for all who would choose Him.

Immanuel, God with us, was born in Bethlehem and named Jesus.

Yes, that same Jesus Who some call "only a prophet" is in fact, God.

God says the only Way to Heaven is by being born again of the Spirit of God by believing in the Son of God, Jesus's sin atoning Sacrifice of Blood called for by The Law which is God Almighty.

Jesus is our Intercessor and He is Fully God.

Choose Him friend, and receive Eternal Life.
