Meditation for Romans 13:10-11

Scripture. 

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.  And that knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 

Romans 13:10-11  KJV

Paul teaches; if we love another we are fulfilling the Law of God.

If we were able, and we should always try, to only treat each other with the purest, most genuine, and compassionate love we would fulfill all the Laws of God.

This one scripture is worthy of much meditation. 

Paul tells us that now is the accepted time to awake from our unrighteous state and take our place among the believers.

The time for Salvation is now.  We should never put it off, but respond to God when His Light flows into our thinking, when we are awakened by the Truth no matter how fleetingly it appears.  God says to recognize it and grab onto it and begin the journey from unbelief to belief.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for Your Word which teaches us that You are the God of Love and that in You is Perfection of  Love.  Help me to be a loving person and relinquish all anger and bitterness.  Amen.
