Meditation

Scripture.  Behold, I shew you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of  an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53  KJV.

Paul here explains an incredible promise but it remains a mystery to us, because to believe it, one must have great faith.

God has promised that there is a time, when the last of a number of trumpets shall sound, and He will change all corruptible flesh bodies for incorruptible bodies.

His Word says it will be done in the twinkling of an eye.

Those who "sleep", meaning the dead, shall also be raised with incorruptible bodies.

The change will occur so quickly that those who are alive, will not have time to call out to God, confess sin or anything else.

The state your soul is in at that moment will be the state it has as it comes before the Throne of God for Judgement.

This is important information to meditate on.

If that last trump were to sound now, would your soul be ready to stand before God?

To not make a decision for God is to make a decision against Him

If you're not with Him, God places you in the "against" lineup.  His Word to us confirms this in many scriptures.

Search it out in the Holy Bible, and discover for yourself, if you are not a believer already.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for setting out the Truth for us to discover in Your Word.  Help me to praise You for the wonderful Power You have over all Creation.  Amen.
