Whom God Forgives

Friend, many people seem unforgiveble to us, yet God says everyone is forgiveable.

Not all will choose to be forgiven but all have the right to receive Forgiveness.

This is what God's Word indicates; even though it seems unbelievable when we hear or see of someone who has carried out a heinous cime against a living being of flesh.

Yet the Holy Word of God tells us that if that person realizes the evil deed they have committed and believe they have sinned against God's Law and they speak to God The Son with a repentant heart and a willing obedience to turn from their wicked ways, that Jesus the One who died for that sinful condition, will know if the repentant one is truly honest and if so, will extend Forgiveness to that person.

The absolution of sin is the greatest Gift one can receive from God and it should put that person on a Holy Path into the heart and mind of God; turning from all sinful desires to the renewing of the mind and spirit.

This Forgiveness, being so complete, is a stumbling block to others who are not Forgiven, but we must look at it as "Whom God forgives, so must I," and be obedient to Him in forgiving those people, or we cannot receive Forgiveness for ourselves.

This is a deep, deep concept to ponder.

And it begins with loving God for Who He Is; understanding His Character and Law; desiring to know Him, learning about Him from reading His Word and entering into a close personal relationship with Him.

I call Him my Confidant, my Friend, my Saviour.

I hope you will also.
