Friend, are you fully abandoned to receive from the Lord what He has for you today?

Or are you apprehensive that to do so, would mean God desires something from you, that you cannot let go of, just now?

Would the changes He may require, be an impediment to your current lifestyle?

It is true that we must be willing to receive first, if we expect to see God move in our lives.

Big faith and belief receives the big miracles and gifts, and small faith receives according to their faith in who God is.

Psalm 127:1-2 

Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it. Except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrow - because it is He who gives His beloved sleep.        

Friend, God is watching and caring for you. He knows what your needs are.

Speak to Him of your concerns.

Learn of Him by reading His Word. You will find Him to be trustworthy and full of Love for you.

Yes, He requires a repentant and humble heart to do great things for you.

Trust Him.

Psalm 126:5 They that sow in tears, reap in Joy.

It's okay to be stripped of all your worldly ways and things.

God is the God of Wonders.

Allow Him to close doors, windows and paths and trust Him to open new ways for you.

Be an obedient child and walk on the new path in glorious faith in Him who cares for you.

Be willing to receive His Best, and be thankful.

Friend, daily we are tested, wouldn't you agree?

Do you not see and feel the fire from time to time?

Be grateful! Your faith is found worthy to be tested!

Truly, none of us are worthy to be called sons and daughters of God.

God's Word tells us that it is not our worthiness that gives us access to Him, but it is by His Grace we are saved.

His Great Grace and Mercy are what holds this world together.

Without Grace and Mercy, evil would reign supreme.

But with His Grace and Mercy, evil cannot reign in full. It will always be tempered by God's Grace for those who have even the smallest desire to know Goodness.

We struggle against the powers of evil in this world, and we can be victorious spiritually even while we live and are singed by the evil army.

Allow Him to redeem you and remove the twisted perversions and heal you with the healing balm of Goodness and Mercy; wrap you in His arms of Love and Beauty; teach you of His Truth and Wisdom.

Stretch your faith to believe in the Goodness of God wholly, and without fear.

Fear what evil can and will do to you; lie, cheat and steal to but name a few of it's tools for the plundering of your soul.

Be a brave soul and let the Lord show you of His Mighty and Victorious Ways as you negoiate through the evil alleyways of life.

He will be with you in the fire when you are fully abandoned to His Will for you.

Beloved, believe not every spirit , but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Hereby know ye the spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.

They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth us not. Hereby know we the Spirit of Truth, and the spirit of error.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is Love.

In this was manifested the Love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

Herein is Love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His Love is perfected in us.

Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit.

Friend, throughout this blog the mention of meditation is sprinkled like sugar crystals on candy.

It's such an important necessity for our lives, to take some time for thinking, for resting from the busyness of life.

Our mind is such that it is always busy. We are made in God's image this way.

He says through the Bible that He is available to us at all times; so we can meditate upon Him, at any time of the day or night and He will be there to answer, help, advise, enlighten, and encourage.

He loves to be in our thoughts. He comes alive to us in them.

Set aside some time to take a breath, free from the busyness and allow the Lord to be a partaker with you, of one on One communion.

Know that He is full of Power in all things.

Place yourself where you see your soul, unbeliever, believer, not sure, haven't felt Him yet,  and address the thoughts you have about God, to Him.

He may show you your true status; wouldn't that be good to know?

It's a wonderful place to start a journey into spiritual knowledge of yourself and how to grow spiritually to have peace and life and joy.

And no human is leading you. It's just you and God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

How amazing that They would take the time to be available to you!

It's up to you to take that breather. Your choice.

Friend, do you agree that the Lord is your High Tower?

King David realized that He is the High Tower that he (king David) could go to and be safe from his adversaries.

In the High Tower we can rest and gather our thoughts; listen to the Lord's guidance; and be comforted and regroup.

It is in the High Tower that we get new ideas for all kinds of issues, things and situations that will help us move forward in line with the Will of God.

When something is blocking you or you need to solve something, the Lord is waiting for you to come into the High Tower so that your answer can be revealed to you.

King David obviously experienced this.

His words for our Wonderful and Amazing Lord Jesus are as follows: my Rock, my Fortress, my Deliverer, my God, my Stronghold, my Refuge, my Shield, my Salvation, my High Tower.

God is waiting to be these things for you as well.

He has said in His Word, through His servant, king David, that He is these Personifications for us!

He wants us to think of Him in this way.

We don't need separate mini gods to be these things for us as in other man made religions.

He is our All in All. Name above All Names. Almighty God.

Friend, the most important thing we can do in life is to find God.

It is the sole responsibility for our soul.

When we find Him, we can begin the real journey for our life.

So many of us put this responsibility off.

We all know inwardly this is our responsibility, but we just want to have "fun" like that old song says.

God says, that we should seek Him first and then the fun can begin.

The Holy Spirit urges us to seek God, to be searchers who actively are open to seeing Him in the world and it's surroundings.

But friend, beware of the many side roads that meander down lovely pathways that seek to entice you away from finding God.

Many are those which are filled with believable stories and myths whose authors are native peoples who have been influenced by the evil forces at work in the world. Ancient, tribal, old cultures, these should not influence you just because of the amount of time they have been around.

God is and was from eternity back to eternity forward, Kingdom without end.

He is in control. He allows evil to have it's day, but there is nothing they can do about their demise. It will happen when God gives the signal. 

I wouldn't want to be among them when their sentence is carried out. The angst will be so heavy.

They will have had a long run at being "numero uno" in their own eyes. They will have had all the fanciest "things" the world could offer. They will have had "power" and carte blanche to do as they willed.

But, possessionns will mean nothing then.

Power will be at zero.

No-one will worship them.

The better choice for your soul is to be found by God to have beleived in His Son and followed after the teaching and guidance of the Holy Spirit who has been left here in this world for the searchers and seekers after Wisdom, Love, Truth and Beauty.

Through the Spirit we find God. He is the One who leads us into a relationship with the Son and He is the One who comforts us along the Way.

Call out to God and the Spirit answers and takes your spirit and works wonders in your life.

Stay in complete communication with the Holy Spirit all day and every day and you will see that He is the One who can do all things to make a Way where there seemed to be no way.

Make the choice today to be a follower of Jesus and you will look back one day and see that you have a testimony but at the time, you did not know it was going to be a testimony. It may have seemed difficult but because you kept on believing, your life was transformed.
