Proverbs 1:1-25

Proverbs 1:1-25

The Proverbs of Solomon the son of David, the king of Israel; to know wisdom and instruction; to perceive words of understanding; to receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgement and equity; to give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.

A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: to understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: for they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and valuable chains about thy neck.

My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.

If they say;  Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down to the pit:

We shall find all precious substance, we shalll fill our houses with spoil, cast in thy lot with us: let us all have one purse.

My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:

For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.

Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.

And they that lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.

So are the ways of everyone that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.

Wisdom crieth without, she uttereth her voice in the streets: she crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words saying, How long ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate Knowledge?

Turn you at My reproof: behold, I will pour out My Spirit unto you, I will make known My Words to you.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These Words were written before the Sacrifice; during the Old Testament days when the chosen generation were under God's Law without a Saviour but expecting Him to come.

They have meaning for us today because they show us how God speaks to us. Read the above verses as if God is speaking to you - giving you insight into how His Law works and what He wants us to do. That is; to turn to the Holy Spirit who will make known God's Word to you, where you will learn about Knowledge for your life on earth, and God's Truth.

When we understand these things and walk in this way we will gain more and more Godly Knowledge and Godly Confidence.

Undeserving

03/07/2016 10:58

Friend, do you agree that you are undeserving of God's Love?

That fact is, that the Bible, God's Holy Word shows us that we all are ; before we receive the Gift of Forgiveness. It is offered to us from the Redemptive Work of Jesus, by His death and Resurrection, fulfilling God's Holy Law of Love for us, who have been led astray and understand, that God sent His Son to be our Saviour.

God made a Way for us to be deserving of His Love. His Son was sent as a Sacrifice for us who believe in the One True God.

The Holy Spirit works with our spirit to show us that we are sinners, undeserving. He is tireless in His efforts to show us how we err. He is tireless in His efforts to reveal the Son of God to us.

We of course have free will and merrily go about our days believing we are our own righteousness. How we love to be "right" in everything. The world these days even tells us that nothing we do is wrong. All things are permissable, (says satan). We may see something someone else is doing and say, "That is wrong."  But if we looked at our own lives as God does, we would see that we are incorrect in most of our choices; they're sinful in some way.

God is invested in our hearts and minds. And this is the area He judges.

Our minds and hearts must accept Jesus, to be judged righteous before God.

We must recognize we are a sinner. We must repent to God and accept His Son as our Saviour who died to Redeem us from sin. This is the only Way to Eternal Life in the Light; through God's Son, Jesus.

God says that is the only Way He will accept because all other ways are tainted by satan in some way.

Otherwise, His Death was not needed. If all good people can go to Heaven why did the Son have to die? No, the Father had a Plan and Jesus executed it in Perfection.

If we cannot bow the knee to the Son, then we cannot have Eternal Life in Peace, Love and Truth; but we will inherit what satan through his rebellion and enmity with God has brought into being, darkness, terror, pain, eternal thirst, horror.

Pure evil will reign in hell.

Most evil people in this world will never be able to take it and will writhe in sheer agony, realizing their mistakes, crying out for forgiveness. But, God says it will be too late.

They will have grieved the Holy Spirit who was with them 24/7 during their lives, never tiring of trying to reveal Jesus.

And yes, this blog is one way the Spirit moves, through an undeserving human who believes.

Satan deceives us into thinking this world is a big party with dancing and joy when in fact we're like the first Jews at the concentration camp thinking we're going to take a shower! The surprise comes after we go through the door of death.

You have been witnessed to.

He Always Hears Us.

03/06/2016 11:18

Friend, in all your calling, praying and speaking to the Lord, are you confident that He hears you?

Many are the times that we do not hear Him, because we are not willing to wait for the answer.

To our detriment, we plough on thinking He has not heard; and in doing so we change the things He wanted to give or say because we enter a new way of thinking, or step out on a different path that is not part of His Perfect Plan for us.

When we believe in Him, no words spoken, groans uttered, or cries for help go unnoticed. His ear is always attuned to the ones He loves.

Our answer may take some time to be unfolded before us because it may involve others who are not believers and who will not do the Will of God. But, through it all He is working for our Good.

Where there seems to be no way for us, with God on our side, there is a Way. The impossible to us is not impossible for God.

It may just take some time.

During these times of waiting and we have many of them, it behooves us to learn of Him by reading the Holy Scriptures where we will find, Grace, Mercy, Comfort, Love, and Truth for the day.

Knowing these Words is like immersing oneself in the most pristine clear lakewater and coming out comforted on the inside, ready to face the world again.

His Word brings Hope and Calm in the storm. It's always personal for you. It paints a picture of who we are called to be and in being that soul who obeys, we create pathways that God uses to accomplish our requests.

Take many daily doses of Holy Scripture and know that He is for you and will cause all things to come together for Good for you. Memorizing verses that empower you or speak to you of His Love enable you to use them in a situation you encounter when you don't have your Bible with you.

Never forget or disbelieve that He hears you and is working all things together for your and His good.

God's Law Prevails

03/05/2016 10:06

Friend, God is Pure Law. All He does is Pure. He makes no mistakes.

He is above all things and over all things and in all things.

Nothing exists without His knowledge because He is the Creator of all things.

Everything is governed by Him and His Law prevails throughout all creation.

He wants us to recognize this. He has given us the free will to look around and recognize His Majesty and Truth that is always Good.

Within us He has placed the desire to know Him, because He desires to have a personal relationship with each of us. He wants the fellowship and love that we can give back to Him. He created everything for His Pleasure.

Until the day we die we should be seeking Him and His Will. Even finding Him in the form of Jesus still requires us to grow in the knowledge of Godly Ways so that we can grow ever closer to Him. Our journey should be continual, searching, seeking, growing in Godly Knowledge.

It does not end when we find that Jesus died for our sins and has made a Way for us. We must step on the Path and begin to explore Holiness with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Christianity is not supposed to be a stagnant religion.

Jesus is alive and so must we be.

Reality Of Satan

03/05/2016 07:37

Friend, a few words about satan. (I cannot give him a capital "S" unless forced to in the structure of the sentence - he is undeserving.)

The power he has is great, but it is not on the level with Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Satan is filled with cruel hatred for all God has created.

He was an angelic being with a spiritual body when we first hear about him in the Bible.

Next he is described as a "fallen angel."

In Matthew 24:24 we are told he can transform himself into an "angel of light." And, by this many will be deceived.

He is known as the "Great Deceiver." His greatness comes from deceiving man and scheming to deceive the inhabitants of Heaven.

He was able to deceive a third of the inhabitants of Heaven the Bible says.

By these statements we can see that God allows free will and it must be for His purposes that we are allowed to sin.

God does not want us to sin, but if we choose it, He will not snatch us back; but, there is an inbuilt price to pay for sin.

Satan's hatred is directed at Jesus the Christ. God loves His Son. Jesus will never sin, as satan has. All Jesus does will be Righteous.

Satan is a copycat. He fraudently copies by what means he is allowed the signs and wonders of our Lord Jesus.

We must be careful when attributing miracles we receive to the Father; if it is not something according to the Will of God, and we receive it, then we have received something from Satan.

Satan will only perform miracles that are against Goodness and Truth. He provides "false christs and prophets" to lead seekers of Peace, Truth, Beauty, Life, Light and Goodness, astray.

God will allow us to be tested and it is up to us to show Him that we believe in Him only, and do not desire to entertain anything satan offers us. We should test the Scripture first before asking for a "miracle" to see if it is in God's Will.

Just saying, "God would want me to have this because I have great need of it to satisfy my "self" is not good enough." We have evil in us and are easily led astray.

Test the Scripture. Find what kind of miracles Jesus performed, and why they were performed, and you will know what the Will of God was in those instances.

Be blessed friend by any new found knowledge written here for our edification.

Sticking Points In The Bible

03/04/2016 09:48

Friend, only the Holy Spirit can help us to understand the sticking points, that many of us cannot get past, in the Bible.

We must remember first, there was and is God. Everything came after that.

So many people are afraid of believing; just having faith without knowing all the ins and outs of what God has revealed to us in the Bible. We are just infants; needing to be milk fed but wanting the meat when we have no teeth to chew! We would choke on the meat if it was given to us!

It is impossible to know all! God is All Knowing and we are not capable of being God.

It's that simple. We should bring ourselves down off the high horse and humble our minds so they can hear what God is saying to us.

If you have a faith where you can tie up all the ends in a neat bow and sit back and believe then I say to you, that you have a counterfeit belief set up by satan who is the great copier of all God does. He'll give you all the wrong answers that will lead you so far away from Truth that you'll be consumed and happy in your unbelief for your whole lifetime; thinking you have found a secret way, the real deal.

God tells us - in the Bible -  that we cannot know everything while we are alive on this eartth. It is for His Purposes that it is this way. He lays it out for us and it's available to everyone, it's not a secret. His Son was the Blood Sacrifice for our sins and through His Resurrection He is able to save us.

He wants us to have that sure faith in Him that He is Good, the Truth and Light and Love that we need.

When we take that leap of faith, child-like, believing in His Goodness, we are rewarded with the Holy Spirit who then guides and directs our lives into a full and loving relationship with Jesus, the Son.

Our faith grows inside us as a "spiritual knowing" that we cannot deny. God through the Holy Spirit gives us insight when we have questions, and will reveal all we need, that will satisfy our need to know.

Recently I saw a post about the Blood Sacrifice; which is Jesus on the Cross. It used as it's argument earlier times when blood sacrifices were used by man. To this post that was all the proof needed that man was the first to use the blood sacrifice and therefore God was the copier and the Blood Sacrifice of Jesus meant nothing!

No, God was the first to call for a Blood Sacrifice in Heaven and satan was the copier who put it in man's head to carry out in ancient times.

The first blood sacrifice was an animal sacrificed for the hide, to be a covering for Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

Satan had seen God carry out the first blood sacrifice for the covering of Adam and Eve - he must have been impressed. But, satan was not privy to Jesus answering the call to be the Perfect Lamb Sacrifice because he had been banished to earth. God outsmarted satan in this instance.

Next, Jesus answered that call to be the Blood Sacrifice for man's sins.

Jesus on the Cross, said, "It is finished."

Now, God says there is no more Sacrifice no matter what you hear.

Always, God is the first where Goodness and Law is concerned.

Satan was the first to turn God's Goodness and Law into evil.

He is adept at doing so and when we align our hearts and mind with that of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit we can see clearly that those arguments are false that try to disprove the Kingship and Godhead of Jesus.

There are many passages and writings in the Bible that people get caught up in. That is because they do not have an inquiring mind that is seeking to find Truth. They have an accusing mind that is seeking to disprove.

God allows them to have their day. And God allows those of us who are exhausted and wish to really know Truth to have it, and in full measure.

As a Christian, we need to be at a place where when we see something written or on television or movies portrayed as a "dig" against our faith and beliefs, that we are not humiliated or angry or confused, but are confident that the Spirit will give us the answer if we turn to Him and express our confusion.

"Father, help me in mine unbelief to understand."

He will.
