Child-like believers

02/29/2016 05:59

Friend, God wants committed strong believers but He calls us first as small children asking us to have a child-like faith.

Children are very open and innocent and look to adults as the sustainer and nourisher and soother of all their needs. They fully believe that we will supply everything they need to be alive.

They trust fully ( until we break their trust ) that we will supply love, food, warmth, shelter, entertainment etc.

They have happy hearts, they sing and dance in the moment, assume that everyone loves them, that nothing is impossible for them.

This is how God wants us to look to Him. Our faith needs to be child-like.

He asks us to believe that He is the One who Loves us and will provide all our needs. And like any good parent, He will show us when we have stepped over a boundary that will bring us harm if we continue down that path.

Become a trusting child of Almighty God! The benefits are so fulfilling to our souls.

Let  your answers always be "Yes, Father."

When you notice that He convicts you of a sinful thought, perhaps critical of others, immoral, selfish - you will know it if you're listening with a child-like spirit, immediately your response should be "Yes, Father. Help me to cleanse that from my thinking."

Jesus told the disciples in Mathew 3:3 Except you become as little children you cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Worldy ways had become the norm for them. Masculine ego was a part of their personas. They had to make livings to survive and their days would be filled with upmanship.

Jesus asked them to humble themselves to Him and not use these worldy ways in their faith with Him.

He knows we have to live in the world but He asks us to have a child-like faith in Him.

The Hard Questions

02/26/2016 11:11

Friend, we must ask ourselves the hard questions about our mortality.

I have found that we like to put them off. We try to hide from God and we also while denying that He exists, rail at Him because of our circumstances!

We can't have it both ways!

He either exists to us or He doesn't.

It's a fact our bodies come from the womb and our bodies cease to live at some time; we die.

It's a fact that while we live, we think.

Our thoughts cover all kinds of subjects. Not only food, shelter, danger as we perceive the animals doing.

No, our mind is capable of much more complicated thought processes.

But there is not Purity in our thoughts. They are definetly tainted with impurity; anger, revenge, greed, malice, pride. We have unbalanced egos.

WHY? That is a big and hard question that we must ponder.

Why are we born only to die like the natural world when we are at the top of the food chain?

Why must everything die?

Are we just evolving like evolutionist thinking proclaims?

Why do we not see the changes happening?  When did evolution stop? What era or year was evolution ground to a halt? When did it know that man was now "ready" just to be "man" and no more evolutionary growth was needed?

Why do we find everything has an innate mathematical part to it? What is that all about?

Why are there Laws of the universes that cannot be broken, but must be accomodated by us? Those Laws control us, not we them!

Why is this world the only and perfect place for us to live ( even though we spend billions on trying to find another world)?

Why do our finest minds in the scientific communities know they are only discovering what is already in place; that they are not discovering something new, but just another layer of something very Perfect that already exists and has existed for a very long time?

Are these things worth thinking about, for you? Do these questions simmer at the back of your consciousness while you go about living?

This is the Spirit helping your spirit to seek answers.

Have you embarked on a course to find the answers and believe you have found something that gives you all the answers?

As a guide to examining the present course your life is taking you should find a starting point from which to peel back the layers.

The Holy Bible is a great foundational work that a person can use to seek the perfection of the layers of belief we have stored up within our psyche.

It can be the Sounding Board that you bounce your thoughts and ideas off while investigating what you see as a truth yet one that is a bit leaky, not fully formed, having no end or beginning, recognizing immorality in it that cannot be Holy, not feeling absolute, requiring too big a leap of faith, giving no guaratees.

Many are the souls who have done this and have found the One True Way and have that guarantee of Life Eternal with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Friend, ask yourself the hard questions and let the Holy Bible be your source of information.

Worldly Knowledge

02/24/2016 12:56

Friend, there are many "ways to heaven" described in a myriad of books, taught as truth, which to God are abomination, because satan has inspired them through his knowledge of God and the Heavenlies. After all, satan held an exalted position in God's Presence. He was privy to what God had revealed, but not privy to all God knew!

These books, scrolls, manuscripts, passed down "knowledge" speak of other dimensions, heirarchies, schemes, worship of nature and ideas, other worldly dieties and so forth.

Let's suppose that all are real for the sake of this one small article and just a small space in it.

Some highly evolved minds after observing nature, or taking part in meditative thinking, or ingesting hallucinogenic plants and tapping into satanic traps, have penned their deluded findings and through their own (evil inspired) thinking have hit upon some aspects of God's Universes, and His Knowledge, and His Plans etc., and have deceived many through the ages.

But friend, they all miss this one thing.

God; who can do as He pleases, because He is Law; owns it and makes it and carries it out to the letter, but never changes what He has put in place because He is perfect and makes no mistakes; has come to earth as He planned in the form of a baby, humble, poor, full of simplicity and not of greatness (to confound the wise), to fulfill the Law that was written by the prophets of old who were guided by the Holy Spirit; who told them what to write even though they may not have understood fully the Plan of God.

These chosen by God holy men, were wholesale believers in God who is Perfection, therefore why would they add to the Word given, and wrote as directed through Holy Ghost inspired, visions, visitations and dreams.

The fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies is Jesus of Nazareth. God did not give up His Diety when He came to earth as a manchild.

His Mother when she asked Him to perform his first public miracle of changing water to wine, knew her son Jesus could do this. Why? Because she had witnessed that everything He touched in the home was made beautiful. It is written in the Bible that His clothes were so highly desired when He was crucified, the Roman soldiers tossed "dice" for them!  He did not have money to spend on the best! He didn't need it. His Father provided the best for Him. He could put on an ordinary garment and it would be immediately transformed into perfection. The water became wine, and the best wine as spoken in the Bible, because He inwardly desired it to. The water obeyed Him.

God coming to earth as a man but fully God. Only Jesus of Nazareth's birth, life, crucifixion and second coming (still to come), was prophesied. None other.

God says there is no other Name by which man can be saved.

He will not accept all our own ideas - which are influenced by the evil one of this world whether we believe that or not. God knows it is this way as He knows all - to our very core - even the things we don't know about ourselves.

God specifically tells us that His Law (which is anything He says because He never speaks an untruth) provides for One Way for us, today while we live in this world.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life Everlasting. Jesus Saves.

We live in the time after the Great Sacrifice on the Cross at Calvary and belief in the Son is the ONLY way God will accept for us to be allowed into Eternal Life with Him.

He says all other ways are owned by satan and are skewed copies of His Plan, but the stamp of approval is going to be the stumblingblock known as Jesus that many will not humble themselves before, because they have been deceived by satan through other worldly teachings which they prefer to believe. And that is their free will choice.

The Father does not want anyone who wants to argue with Him.

We cannot prove one thing to Him. He will prove all to us at the Judgement. Our souls do know this fact but we cover it up with layers of "not wanting to believe that."

Friend, unpeel the layers now!

This Jesus is the One Who divides the wheat from the chaff, the sheep from the goats, the believers from the unbelievers. It's the simplest and most profound Way all at once.

Some very good and lovely people who are wise in their own eyes are just not able to bow the knee to Jesus. He's not the King they want.

If in all your studying and researching and finding you do not find that Jesus is God's Son and He is God, then you have a false religion. It may be close but that one fact will not be there. He may be described as a teacher, prophet, wise man, spiritual being, leader, but never as God's Son. You may be told that you can be elevated up the ranks by doing "whatever" but friend, you will hold that position in hell only, not in the Presence of Almighty God. Only those who claim Jesus as Lord and Saviour will be welcomed into Heaven.

Satan will never say that Jesus is God, King, Lord, Saviour, Redeemer. Satan can't disprove Jesus's existence so he allows Him to be a teacher or some lesser person, never Who He Is, God.

It's that simple.

But one day He will return as the Majestic King, full of Power and Glory but it will be too late when they see Him then, as God will have closed off the Way.

The only reason this hasn't happened yet is because God has workers in the fields and He sees those whose hearts can be snatched back from satan. Yes, He wants your heart and soul. He is doing all He can to reveal His goodness to you!

Friend, today is the day to explore what this post has alluded to. Begin your journey of spiritual awakening with the Holy Spirit as your guide and put aside all of your previous knowledge of whatever religion you have aligned yourself to. (You could always go back when you decide you are an unbeliever through and through.)

How many times must you be witnessed to by the simple people of the Carpenter from Nazareth?

Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit)

02/24/2016 12:30

Because the Love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:5b

Friend, a reminder that it is the Holy Spirit who draws us to seek God.

In Acts we find that He was released to have even more Power here on earth than He previously seemed to have in the Old Testament.

And, He is available to each and every one of us today. He is the One who reveals Truth, comforts us and counsels our spirits. He convicts and also confirms things for us.

However it is important to know the Word of God. He is able to speak to our spirit by using the Word of God. Satan also knows the Word. He uses it for evil purposes; taunting us and condemning us. Setting out other pathways that lead away from God - always desiring to lead the believer astray and keeping the unbeliever deceived.

But God, has the ultimate Power and there is always a Word that cancels satan's accusations.

Pray for the Holy Spirit in your life. You must let go of all preconceived ideas and allow the Spirit to renew your mind.

This new Way of thinking and being in the Holy Spirit's care, is so wonderful. It's like being parched for thirst and drinking the most delicious nectar.

Because the Love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:5b

Romans 5:1-10

02/23/2016 20:47

Therefore being justified by faith, we have Peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

By whom also we have access by faith into His Grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in Hope of the Glory of God.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

And Hope maketh not ashamed; because the  Love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

For scarcely a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

But God commandeth His Love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Much more then, being now justified by His Blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Romans Chapter 5 verses 1 through 10.

Friend, how beautiful are those words to you?

Here God is telling us through the Apostle Paul whom He appeared and spoke to, that Jesus, God's Son was sacrificed for us to have Hope and Peace and we live in the Grace of God. These are big things to own.

The Creator of all things made a Way that satan cannot circumvent. It is like the biggest secret that you have ever been let in on.

Satan is jealous of you if you have faith in God! He has been stymied in his attempts to lead you astray!

Hallelujah! God is on your side!

Now, allow Him to teach, guide, encourage, uplift your spirit so that your soul may grow in knowledge.

Be An Overcomer

02/22/2016 14:43

Friend, believers are called to be overcomers.

Those areas of your personality that the Lord has shown you are keeping you from victory, must be overcome.

We tend to want to keep these things and use them as crutches. We fear letting them go or stepping aside from them.

The fear comes because we don't know what to replace this "issue" with. We think we will stumble and fall without this part of our personality. Usually it has become a dominant aspect of the character of a persona that actually causes problems. It is ingrained and we use it daily in all our dealings.

God says that we should use His Word as the "filler" when we decide to change.

His Word is the antidote to fear.

There is Power in speaking God's Word to the problem or fear.

Jesus used God's Word in the desert when the devil tempted Him.

The devil had to leave that area alone and try somehing different. Eventually, satan fled - only to try other methods eventually leading to the Cross. But Christ died once for us all so long as we receive with thankfulness His Sacrifice.

It will be this way for you as well when you use God's Word to overcome. Evil will have to stop and regroup, and this will give you enough time to take a breath and continue on in victory. You will be tested and tested until evil is satisfed you will never relent from your belief in the Son of God and in the power of His Word.

Just know within yourself that God is for you and God is Good and God is Truth. Evil desires your destruction. It does not love you even though it may be giving you things and experiences in this life that you cherish; eventually it claims you as it's own at your death, and then the deal has been signed, sealed and delivered - fully with your approval as God will show you. You of course will realize you have been deceived, but that your soul had been aware and just went along with your flesh desires.

Looking Back On Prayer

02/20/2016 09:30

Today I happened upon some past years journaling of prayer. To my great thankfulness, I found God had answered everything.

Most of these answered prayers I took for granted until today, because they were woven into my daily life and over time became fulfilled without me recognizing or even remembering I had prayed for change.

Today, I challenge you, friend, to meditate upon your past requests to God and see if you see where He has begun to turn the wheels for change to bring about answer to your prayers.

Sometimes, the changes come in a way that we had not thought of, therefore we do not recognize that it is God's hand at work.

But, reflection will show you that only God could make those changes.

It wasn't you after all who changed things!

Give thanks and praises for His intervention on your behalf to bring about answered prayer.

We serve a Mighty All Knowing, All Seeing, God. It is important to thank Him and recognize Him in this way.
