Your Great Friend

11/07/2020 09:47

Friend, is Jesus your Friend?

If not yet, He desires to be your Friend.

He is our biggest Ally,

He is the One who loves us; knows us better than any other, forgives our sins against Him, makes a Way for us when there seems to be no way; consoles and comforts us, heals and teaches us, fights off our enemies, reasons kindly with us, and loves us.

He alone knows the perfect way to navigate our problems and issues to bring us back from the edge of the chasm that we are being drawn to fall into.

He can turn everything bad in our life into something beautiful.

Only God can do these things in Holy Perfection.

However His Law demands that we ask Him for this help.

It takes our cooperation; for no entity must ever be able to say they were enticed or used, or were unwilling to have Him help them.

We are surrounded by clouds of witnesses both in spiritual form and physical form and none of these witnesses should ever be able to say that they witnessed God coercing any other.

Is this not a Pure God? One who allows freedom of will, even though that will is exposed to evil forces which do coerce and cajole.

No, God is not like that.

He wants only willing souls. Souls that love Him for Who He Is; His Holiness, His Perfection, His Power, His Truth, His Love, His Beauty, His Law and Will.

So, He can be your Great Friend.

If you hope and pray for an end to the madness around you, then you must seek your Friend.

Ask for His Forgiveness; turn away from the madness; accept Him as Saviour from the madness; gaze upon His Beauty as He sits on the Great Throne at the Right Hand of God The Father with His Robes flowing all throughout the Temple, and kneel before Him, your Friend Who welcomes you into The Kingdom.

He is always available to talk to; to pour out your heart to; to open your mind to Knowledge, Truth and Wisdom.

He is always loving you with a Holy and Pure Love; tempered with wise words to help you overcome the pain in the life you have fallen into through unwise choices.

He will bring you out of the miry clay bog; the labryinth, the caves where you hide, into His Pure Light, Love, and Joy Unspeakable.

He will walk before you to Protect you. Your Protector.

He will carry you through the hard times. Your Strong and Mighty Warrior.

He's looking for Disciples who believe so deeply and completely that they can walk beside Him as His friend.

He'll spend your lifetime doing all this and more.

Don't you want this?

It's available to you right now.

We do not know how long our life is going to be; so make your choice now, friend.

Friend, Jesus loves us.

Look what He did for us, for you!

The Christian experience is one of finding God, searching after Holiness, Gaining Understanding, Knowledge and Wisdom, learning to love in a Holy way, giving of oneself and much more.

Through all these experiences we at some time; hopefully sooner rather than later, come to realize we must repent of our old ways and continue living a God-pleasing existence.

The Holy Spirit directs us to The Word of God, The Holy Bible, The Gospel.

Between the covers of this magnificent Book we find our Lord speaking to us.

We learn about Who God Is; His Law and Will concerning mankind and His Desire and Love for us.

We can be sure after laying all our anxieties and fears and doubts aside, that He is speaking to us through the written Word.

The Bible is striking in that His Words speak to our heart and mind like no other.

We are moved by certain things that pertain to our own unique existence, when we read and study it.

We come to know that we are sinners. We are just like some of the examples given in the Bible, of sinners!

We doubt, we hate, we are quick to anger and violence, we lie, cheat and steal, we do not honour our parents or others, we use others spitefully, our minds and hearts are against God and all things associated with His Kingdom, we plot and plan against others, we join in satanic offerings and we seek mind altering substances.

The list of sinful behaviours goes on and on!

But, friend, God has made a Way for us and when we recognize our need to have our sins erased, we have a wonderful option devised by God especially for us.

We can repent.

Repentance. This is what John the Baptist preached before the coming of The Lord Jesus.

Before the Crucifixion and Resurrection, the only way for the Jewish people who were the only race The Father was interested in saving, was for them to Repent, turn to God and obey all the Commandments (The Law) and follow their Jewish rulers of the Temple.

Some of these rulers sadly became corrupt and through sheer exhaustion from the sinfulness of the population, devised more and more stringent additional add-on laws to the Commandments of God; which made daily life ever more difficult to live holy before God.

Jesus came to make a Way for all humankind, to be reunited with Him in Heaven.

With His Crucifixion He would pay for all the sins of all the population of the world.

With His Resurrection He would fulfill the New Testament of God - the Holy Addendum to The Ten Commandments.

The Law of God was not abolished. It was made even more important because all men now; not just the Jews, should obey The Law of God.

When we repent of our sinful ways and God sees we are genuinely repentant; our heart grieved by our sinful thoughts and deeds, He is quick to Forgive.

Yes, REPENTANCE brings FORGIVENESS from The Father.

If God agrees we are Repentant; His Word tells us that He no longer remembers those sins.

We remember them, and sadly the devil has the right ( for reasons we do not know - but God is Perfect in all He allows) to tempt us and it is by focusing on Jesus, the Cross and Resurrection, that we are given the strength to overcome.

This is what the Lord wants of us.

We must OVERCOME our sinful ways.

We are given Forgiveness, and can again ask for Forgiveness, when we sin again, but we must actively fight with the Power of the Lord, to overcome our sinful habits and ways.

This is the pattern of the Christian born-again walk with Jesus, our Saviour, our Light for the Path.

The Blood Of Jesus

02/07/2020 21:22

Friend, the Blood of Jesus is extremely important to mankind.

God shows us that He was willing to shed His, Only Begotten (of Him,) Son's Precious Blood, to cover the sins of all those who would love God.

Jesus is The Son, of God The Father, yet is also God, because God is what is called a Trinity; Father, Son and Spirit.

These Three are One God.

Yes, Jesus therefore is God; which only Christians believe, because it is proven by the Words of Jesus in the written accounts of the Disciples. Also the Prophets of God; those men whom God had a relationship with; who believed in Him; who sought after His Wisdom; who loved Him as Creator and the Maker and Upholder of The Law of all things; these men prophesied many things about God and His Son.

He is the One Who, The Father said, "This is My Beloved Son."

Luke 9:35 And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is My Beloved Son: hear Him."

This was The Father speaking to Peter, John and James, who Jesus had taken with Him up a mountain to pray.

As Jesus was praying the disciples observed that His countenance (face) and clothing was shining.

The disciples saw two men speaking to Jesus, who they came to realize were Moses and Elias who spoke of the death of Jesus to come in Jerusalem.

These first hand recollections have been recorded for our edification.

Even though they seem outlandish, they are witnesses to something amazing, and their lives from this time on are worth scrutiny by us, to see if they are to be believed.

Many studies have been done through the ages; or we can do our own research.

This incident on the mountain suggests, the Father's Plan was kicking up a gear, and the Ministry of Jesus was coming to an end. He was going to fulfill the Father's Plan and fulfill the Law.

The Holy Blood was going to be shed for all mankind's sins; past, present and future!

None other would do. A sinner's blood can never pay for another sinner's crime in The Law of God.

The Blood would satisfy the Law of God which is unchanging.

There is Punishment for sin. There is a Court of Heaven. There will be a Judgement Day. There will be a White Throne Judgement for Christians.

Everyone is going to be judged.

A Punishment has been set forth for Satan. He is at the moment just using up his allotted time and the beginning of the end is close at hand for him.

Remembering one day in Heaven is a thousand days here on earth; as the Bible explains. We do not know the exact day but we have been given many prophecies and signs of the times when the end will come that ushers in the Judgement.

But Christians have a Good God.

His Plan is Perfect and takes into consideration by His Law every aspect of our lives; each one of us.

The unbeliever in this life, is left in the darkness until he/she decides they don't like it there anymore.

When they seek the Light of the world, Jesus, they receive the measure of their faith, back in Love.

Small love, some kept and metered out to God when favors are given, won't receive much back though.

It's not that God is unloving, it's that His Purity/Holiness, Is far-reaching encompassing His Whole Being and half-hearted expressions can't get close to Him.

He's the Great One of all creation not the weak parent of mankind living on this earth. Our lies and cajoling won't get us anywhere at the Judgement.

He sees right into our heart and mind, exposing the marrow from the meat and bone!

One must dive in and truly Love Him; swim in the ocean of Who He Is; Love in it's purest form.

God's Mercy, Love and Grace are unending to those who love Him and obey, unconditionally.

He gave us the Ten Commandments; which are still The Law today, that must be obeyed.

God is after red-hot believers to do red-hot things with Him.

People who love Him are thankful for the Blood shed for them.

They love Jesus for sacrificing His Life for them to have abundant life on earth and life eternal after this life.

This is what God wants from us. To know His Son, to love His Son, to follow His Son, to be thankful and grateful for the Blood shed and to testify to the unbelievers of their need for Him; as God does not want one soul to perish; even though many have and many more will sadly. They perish because He has given them the Gift of Free Will, and they have used it unwisely.

He is not a dictator.

Many choose to believe in themselves. They think their goodness will suffice a pure God's Justice. Others believe that God does not exist, believing mankind has all the answers for himself. Others are lazy; thinking they will eat drink and be merry till the last minute then cry out to God whom they have rejected; expecting Him to rescue them after a life of ignoring Him.

He warns us in His Word, He does not and cannot accept this soul.

He has a High Purpose and if we cannot see that then what good are we?

We will have had our chance. A lifetime here to figure it out.

Time to wake up.

The Blood is everything.

It's All Spiritual

19/06/2020 09:22

Friend, a life of spiritual fulfillment is much to be desired.

When this is achieved we're able to live in the world of chaos in perfect peace.

We may be attacked, we may suffer harm to our body and our things, but our mind is still ours. Our heart is still ours.

God designed us this way.

1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God, overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
God has designed us to overcome the evil of this world. Apostle John tells us that it is our faith in God which gives us the victory. When we draw near to God in faithfulness, He helps us overcome the sinful habits we have developed, and the trials we face because of the sin in our lives, and in our world.
John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me, ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Apostle John tells us we can have peace in this world even though tribulations will come. The peace he speaks of is given to us through Christ who shows us how to overcome in this world.
1 John 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the Love of the Father is not in him.
1 John 2:16
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
John understands and advises us to not love the world to the exclusion of God, nor to love the things man has devised for his own pleasure. If we love any thing more than we love God there is no room for God. God must come first for us to have peace.
John 18:36
Jesus answered, My Kingdom is not of this world.
John 17:16
They (believers in Jesus) are not of this world, even as I Am not of this world.
1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he (satan) that is in the world.
1 John 5:19
And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
The three Scripture verses above show us that God has a place away from this world, which He calls "My Kingdom." Jesus made a Way for us to join Him in His Kingdom after this life is done, when He went to the Cross to pay for our sins.
All we have to do is thank Him, know we are Forgiven; that He paid the price once and for all and then follow Him through the One He sent to help us, The Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 1:27
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
In Corinthians The Holy Spirit's Word enlightens us. He says that God chooses people who the world calls foolish ( believers in The Christ, Jesus), which confounds those who consider themselves wise of the world's ways. And He further advises us that God chooses the weak in the world ( broken down and discarded by the world) to confound those who are strong and mighty in the world.
But, friend, those of us who love Jesus and are weak, having no power in this world, God chooses us, to give testimony of Him!
The weak and broken people will hear a clear call from God when we speak. The powerful and mighty who cannot humble themselves to Him, will not hear His Voice through us.
He knows how hard their heart is towards Him.
Matthew 13:49
So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just.
Friend in Jesus, when God declares "it is done" we the believers still alive on earth, will be separated from the unbelievers. We will have no more dealings with them.
Oh happy day!
Mark 8:36
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
The Disciple Mark asks us how we will be profited, if we live in the world and do not stay in a relationship with Jesus, because it is hard at times.
We must never forget that the world hated Jesus and the world will hate us. But it is for a short time, and with the Lord's help, we can have inner peace and joy that the world knows nothing of.
1 John 4:9
In this was manifested the Love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
Friend, John tells us this spiritual fact; God has shown His Great Love for us by sending His only begotten Son into this world as a baby, to experience all we have experienced; to live as we do, to eat, to seek shelter and to know our daily needs and to be hated; wrongly accused, arrested, beaten, tortured and crucified unto death. God also shows us that He resurrected His Son and offers us a new life with Him just as His Son has now, sitting on the Throne at The Father's Right Hand, interceding for us as we pray. God says He has grafted us into the Royal Line as brothers and sisters of Christ. For we have suffered too, but we have believed and loved Father, Son and Spirit never tossing away our belief, but overcoming the world by living a spiritual life, and testifying to others of His Great Love.
Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
1 John 3:13
Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
John 14:17
Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Walk With Him

30/05/2020 20:31

Friend, so many people today are rioting and acting out their anger and fear!

But, friend, don't you hope to live in a civilized society?

It's true, we haven't come as far as we would like with our laws and personal interactions with each other.

Lessons from the Bible tell us that man has invited demonic beings to our tables, where they devour everything we have and turn on us.

Jesus when healing some people of what we would perceive as madness, said it was a demon or a host of demons who had taken control of the person.

These demons do not want us to have any heavenly peace, or peace on earth either!

They offer feelings of anger and fear which seems to be just right for the moment, but in fact is evil disguised trying to get control of our mind and emotions (heart). Or they offer sexual heights that are demonic, not godly that lead us into lustful temptations which lead to abuse of others, sometimes even murder to hide that abuse.

We turn on each other at the drop of a hat!

We gather together in cliques which enables the more aggressive demons to force us to think, in ways we normally would not.

After these grand looting and rioting excursions, the demon led people enjoy the camraderie of others like themselves as they hotly relive all their mad exploits and deeds, gloating over the damage and chaos they helped create.

What they don't know, is that the demons that led them are now rolling around in their midst laughing so hard at them because of how easily they are led, how easily they are deceived from the Truth.

They love upheaval of any kind because in that chaos, they actually have fun!

Many of those rioters would stop immediately if they knew the Truth. The game they think they are playing for rights for all is not so. Nothing about what they do is Godly.

We get dependent on the gifts of the demons, sexual lusts, greed, envy, sloth, anger, violence, alcohol, mind altering drugs, food, even building up of the body.

We become addicted.

They influence what we see, how we talk, what we think, what we taste and eat, what we hear, how we interact with others, how we dress.

There isn't any aspect of our lives they do not invade to cause us harm.

Many of us hate the life we live but don't know how to get out of it.

But, friend, it is simple.

Jesus made a Way that the demons hide from us by keeping us busy.

The demons use up our time.

Think about that. We only have so much time here!

These days they have the many games that take up time.

They have deluded us into thinking that it is great to have used up that time in a fun game, movie, television show, hobby and so forth.

Is it possible to play with these "things" and stay unhooked from the demons?

Yes, but one must be walking closely with Jesus in order to do so.

First each soul should seek to know God. In knowing God we find His Word and we learn in The Word, The Holy Bible what God says about His Son, Jesus.

That He is The Light of the world.

That He is The Saviour of the world.

That He is The Way out of darkness.

These three are just a few of the Names of our Lord but they must be three that one believes in wholeheartedly.

Accepting Him as Saviour God, means one has the chance to be born-again when the heart is humbled to Him and the mind repents for it's sinfulness.

Have you done this, friend?

Anyone can. If you're alive today, this is a Gift for you from Father God Almighty.

Will you receive it, friend?

If so, I encourage you to get to know Jesus, your Saviour through His Word.

The Apostle Paul wrote many Books in the Bible and he addresses the new believers whom he had the great honour of converting, Greeks, Romans, and Jews.

Read what he says to them and today it is a letter for you from Paul and the Holy Spirit.

It should touch your soul, the inner part of you that cries out to be saved from this world.

Just, walk with Him for the rest of your days, reading, and learning and testifying to others.

God bless you, friend.

Revelation Names of God

12/05/2020 21:39

In 1st John 5:7 pictured above, we see that the Disciple John who also wrote Revelation tells us what he knows to be Truth.

John says that there are Three parts of God; Father, Word and Holy Ghost who we today call, Holy Spirit.

The Word of God is also known as Jesus.

We attribute many Names to God because of what the holy men of old called Them.

It is always proper, reverential, to use a capital for the first letter of Their Names when we write, so people are able to tell the difference from an ordinary word, and also to see Their Name in all the contexts that show Their attributes and characteristics.

God Himself says to the Disciple known as John, who wrote Revelation; I Am the A and the Z, the Beginning and the Ending of all things.

John said, "Says the Lord, The All Powerful One Who Is and Was and is coming again."

John turned to hear who was speaking like a loud trumpet blast.

When he, John, turned, he saw seven candlesticks of gold. Standing amongst the candlesticks was One Who looked like Jesus whom John knew in the flesh.

John described Jesus's hair as being white as snow, and His eyes as flames of fire. His feet gleamed like burnished bronze and His Voice thundered like the waves against the shore.

He held seven stars in His right Hand and a sharp double bladed sword in His Mouth and His Face shone like "the power of the sun in unclouded brilliance."

John fell at His Feet as though dead, but Jesus laid His right Hand on him and told John not to be afraid, even though He is the First and the Last, the Living One who died Who Is alive Forevermore, and Who has the Keys to Hell and Death.

When He speaks of the church at Thyratira, He calls Himself, the Son of God.

When He speaks of the church in Sardis He calls Himself, the Seven-fold Spirit of God.

When He speaks of the church at Philadelphia He says He is the One Who Is Holy and True and has the Keys to open and shut what no-one else can.

When He speaks of the church in Laodicea He says He is the One Who Stands Firm, is the Faithful and True Witness of all that is or was or evermore shall be, the Primeval Source of God's Creation.

In Revelation 4:9b He is called  The Eternal Living One.

These are just some of the Names for our Most Powerful, Almighty, Loving and True God.

Yet He is also called, The Lamb that was slain.

He is The Lamb Who Is Worthy to take the scrolls and open them which ushers in the Second Coming of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus.

Why Praise God?

30/04/2020 21:21

A person once said to me that they could not worship a God who needed the praise of men.

Many people think this way, not realizing that if God is Good, holds all the Power, Knows all things, is Love, Truth and Justice, He of course does not NEED our praise.

Then why is praise so important?

It is because God looks on our heart.

If we don't love God, we cannot praise Him genuinely; that is from the heart; from experiencing His Great Goodness towards us.

He knows we are sinners, and He sees those who have been covered by the Blood of His Son's Sacrifice, and He desires we do not stray from Him; that we do not grow cold in our relationship with Him.

Praise is the answer for us!

We're the ones who need to praise; and it is Him only who should be praised.

Every time a believer praises Him, He draws near to that soul; we are rewarded with His Presence, and that benefits us in many ways.

When we praise Him we identify His Goodness to our soul and spirit, and it helps our mind to know He is Good all the time.

Nehemiah the Prophet said in Neh. 9:6 Creator God, I praise You because You made the heavens, even the Highest Heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of Heaven worship you.

Nehemiah called Him the Creator of all things. He knows that a man cannot create the things that God has created.

Man can only take the things that God has created and develop something from the already created. So man is an experimenter.

There is nothing that man can conceive that is good that isn't already found in Heaven. The Blueprints are all there; be it music, art, buildings, machinery, whatever.

King David said in Psalm 89:8 O Lord, God Almighty, who is like You? You are Mighty, O Lord, and Your Faithfulness surrounds You.

King David says He (God) is Faithful to him.

The king of Israel, David, had great wealth and power, and never thought himself better than God.

King David depended on God's faithfulness to him in all he did.

When war was imminent...

2 Chronicles 20:22
And when they (Israelites) began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
King David said the following words...
Psalms 18:3
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Here King David speaks to the people who love the Lord ( the righteous) and he advises them to praise The Lord because it is the right thing to do as believers.
Psalms 33:1
Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
In this next Bible verse we see David inwardly thinking about his soul being depressed. He reprimands himself because he knows for sure as if it is never a question that The Lord is his Hope, Health and his God.
Psalms 42:11
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
We can use these same words when feeling low!
Here David says his heart is made up that he believes that God is Everything to him and singing and praise is his way of telling God how he feels.
Psalms 57:7
My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.
In this Psalm verse we see David admit to The Most High, that it is a good thing to give thanks and praise God. And that is because he has seen the results of his thanksgiving and praise.
Psalms 92:1
(A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day.) It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto Thy Name, O most High:
Here we hear David tell us that when we want to communicate with the Lord, we approach the throne Room of Grace and Mercy first by entering the gates of Heaven with Thanksgiving in our hearts and then as we go to the courts of the Heavenly Kingdom we begin to praise Him for Who He Is and what He does for us; then we bless His Name. Jesus.
Psalms 100:4
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
Psalms 102:18
This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
That's us, friend!
More reasons to praise Him.
Psalms 117:2
For His Merciful Kindness is Great toward us: and the Truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.
Dancing while praising Him...Beautiful expressions from the soul and spirit within.
Psalms 149:3
Let them praise His Name in the dance: let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp.
Isaiah, a prophet of God Almighty who forsaw by God's Hand, the coming of His Son speaks of God's Faithfulness and Holy Truth. He tells us by the Holy Spirit, the why of our need to praise Him.
Isaiah 25:1
O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt Thee, I will praise Thy Name; for Thou hast done Wonderful things; Thy Counsels of old are Faithfulness and Truth.
Another reason, God is Righteous in all He does. We will never find fault with His Way, Will and Law.
Psalms 7:17
I will praise the LORD according to His Righteousness: and will sing praise to the Name of the LORD Most High.
Psalms 47:6
Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
