Faithfulness

28/04/2020 17:13

Hebrews 11:1

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

King James Version (KJV)

Friend, once we have given over our will to the Will of Him Who died for us; to save us from eternal death, the only thing we need to do is remain faithful to Him.

In doing so, we will love Him above all others.

We will have no desire or wish to look elsewhere for anything we need.

We will believe that He will supply all our needs.

Some people think that they will not work and just sit around waiting for all the good things to come their way.

So, God must work to get you your sustenance, but you do nothing at all for God?

Come on!

Don't test God in this way.

Will He deliver something to you in your direst need?

Yes.

He is the One Who decides our direst need; and what to give us because He is Law, and never breaks His Own Law; therefore how He gives is up to Him.

He knows us. He knows the soul and spirit within us. He knows the sin in our lives. He hears our thoughts. He knows our feelings.

Therefore within His Will, He will act to bring into our lives the answers designed by Him, for our situation and for those we interact with and for those all around us; all according to His Will and Law; something none of us could do because even though we think we know all things, we do not and He does!

This life is fraught with evil and most people are walking in evil ways even when they do not consciously know it.

Not to mention those who openly choose or cunningly hide their choices for evil in order to trap the unwary, the naive and the innocent.

God sees it all.

He allows it all.

We do not know why.

That is a Mystery for now.

Many enter into a trying time where trusting and having faith in Him is truly a difficult endeavour.

But, all we are asked to do, is step out in a faithful belief that He is God of All Creation - All That Is; All that we can and cannot see or understand.

God Is from Everlasting to Everlasting.

We came on the scene when He was ready to create us.

We should trust Him because He Is Trustworthy.

He has told us in His Word that He is Unchanging.

His Law will not adapt to please our evil choices.

The Dark cannot exist in The Light.

We should take it seriously to be faithful to Him because He is faithful to us according to His Will.

One Book

25/04/2020 08:19

Friend, there is a trick, a delusion, that the devil plays on seeking minds.

We get so eager for Knowledge that we sometimes jump ahead of The Lord and follow satan, who is waiting with his innumerable demons to fulfill his every wish; to trap us in an extended (lifetime) search of never finding Holy Truth, but finding some "almost Truth" that will tickle our fancies just enough to help us continue down the road to Hell.

Those demons keep us from choosing The Holy Bible, and entice us into other "more interesting" books.

He directs these demons to waylay any seeker, believer, of Holy Truth.

Demons obey his every command just as we will, if we follow after him and get so trapped, we die in the trap thinking we have found God.

Consider the cults, the odd animal gods, the worship of rocks and mountains, the carved images, the iconic status of human entertainers, staying in cultures even when they're about violent expansion and land grabs. The things we get trapped in goes on and on.

We waste our time here on all kinds of ungodly endeavours. Following every rabbit trail the devil concocts for us.

This is when satan is truly victorious; when he has our soul and there is no other Way for us to be reunited in Spirit with God because we die having never given our will to Jesus.

We want to keep our will thinking we know best, but we are like sheep being led to the slaughter by satan and his army of devils.

Satan is continually producing the written word, among other forms of communication and entertainment; films, television, radio through, many times unknowing, artists although some do know and honestly say " I sold my soul to the devil".

We love to find a "new,' "old" book with "proof" of other worlds and ideas and happily will read volumes of nonsense while the Spirit is gently showing us another Book, more Holy, full of Truth, Wisdom and Knowledge that the devil laughs at to encourage us to stay away from. (Because when we really study His Word, we find Someone Who loves us, and the devil is revealed as our adversary).

He uses humans to carry out this endeavour!

We call them gifted and talented and give awards to them!

Martin Scorsese has said of film when we are exposed to them; "Those images replay in our heads and we live our lives by them."

Satan's work is designed to keep Truth hidden from us, because He knows that hearing and reading God's Holy Word is Powerful and once smitten with God's Truth, we will no longer desire to follow satan and sinful ways of which he is the author and finisher in our lives.

Books are delightful to us. We love stories, and we love to be surprised by events unfolding in fiction. We find it easy to believe there are other ways to know God, and follow after many types of alternative belief systems of our own making or described in the entertainment we seek.

We easily (with the demon's help) accept science fiction scenarios, other world type stories, and weave those into our own thinking and come to a belief in all things other than a Great Creator God.

Yes, many of us are vulnerable, and come to believe; that much of what we read in them has either a small element of Truth or even worse, a huge amount of Truth in them.

This causes us to go feverishly running after more of the same so we can have the same "great" feelings as the previous book gave to us.

Among these books are the following genres; self-help, health, esoteric religions, ancient culture beliefs.

Delusion for the rest of our natural lives is the end game for satan.

If he can keep us otherwise occupied in pursuing his machinations, we are doomed to spend eternal life with satan and to receive his punishment too.

Satan and his co-horts must jump about cackling with glee when they see they have "caught" us.

He tells us what we want to believe and it makes us feel important that we easily "get it."

But God has made only "One Way" and all others are fiction.

We inwardly know, that the Way of the Cross is a road of sacrifice of sinful ways, a daily giving of ourselves to Goodness and we would like to put it off for as long as we can, because we enjoy dabbling in sin.

We also know that we are living a sinful existence and God is aware of our sin.

We secretly hate Him for being so Pure.

Yes, He Is, Pure.

And He wrote 66 books by The Holy Spirit; that to-day have found themselves bound together in the Holy Bible;which tell His Story, all that He desires we know about how we came to be; how to live; and how to communicate with Him.

This is The One Book the devil wants to keep you from reading.

It is a Holy Spirit filled Book.

It contains The Word of God and it is The Word, Who is described in The Bible as Jesus, Immanuel The Christ.

There are things that God alludes to; doesn't reveal fully, in The Bible, and this is where the devil has his most fun.

They are called Mysteries, and no scholar of Christianity has been able to find the Truth of them because God does not find it necessary for us to know at this time.

Satan actually knows the Truth because He was close to the throne of God before rebelling. He takes these Mysteries of God, the unknown bits, and he confuses us with "great unrevealed knowledge" when in reality it is the writings of a deluded sinner filled with "peace and light" but in fact it is evil revenge and darkness, from Hell.

Let today be the day when you take up reading The Holy Bible.

The Old Testament gives an account of Adam, the fall of man, Abraham, Moses, The Temple, the sacrificial system, rules and vows, Joshua, Gideon, Samson, Ruth, King David, Psalms, Proverbs and Prophet Prophecies.

The New Testament begins with the telling of the birth of Jesus as heard by Matthew and others from conversations with Jesus in person, to His Death and Resurrection, plus prophecies and lastly Revelation, His Second Coming as told by John the Disciple.

Most Holy Bibles have a topical concordance at the back where we can look up a certain word we may have a question about and it will direct us to the passages throughout The Bible where the word is used.

When reading The Bible; Christians are encourraged to pray first - asking God The Spirit, to reveal to their hearts what He desires them to learn.

The Holy Spirit is intent on revealing the Diety of Jesus to us as our Saviour Redeemer.

It is amazing how He will eagerly help us when we come to Him with a humble seeking repentant heart.

But, also the devil has a claim on us so we must be aware that he will try to delay us and confuse us and scoff at the Word as we try to find Truth.

But a seeker and searcher intent on finding Truth, will find Truth.

Start with The Holy Bible, preferably King James Version as it has the closest translation into English from the original texts even though it is in a style a few hundred years older than our modern versions.

Praise The Lord

22/04/2020 21:45

Praise The Lord for He has done great things above what seemed possible in my life!

He is an Amazing God and He is Perfect in all He does!

He has listened to me and worked a beautiful tapestry of my life, that to others is all tattered and not very pretty.

But I know what He had to work with, and can look back at the threads, and see how strong He has made them; and the Craftsmanship is so beyond what man can weave.

From a distance the tapestry is so beautiful but up close, makes no sense!

Ha! He is a Master Magician Who deals in Truths, Who is Beautiful Himself so how could He not make something Beautiful!

He is The Magician who men strive to be like, but must use smoke and mirrors.

He is the Film-maker who produces an Amazing and Magnificent work of art drawn from living characters, with a cast of thousands. He weaves beautiful words, and feelings into the scenes that keep us wondering, but we see also behind the scenes and realize He is The Master of All Things Great and Good.

He is Amazing friends!

Praise His Name, Jesus!

Losing someone

21/04/2020 21:09

Friend in these times of isolating ourselves from others and hearing of so many dying alone, it is very sobering as we wonder what is going on in the world and what if we ourselves come to the end of our life.

Many have lost loved ones worldwide during this pandemic.

But my mind is always centered on Jesus, and hoping that those who are passing on, have had an encounter with Him so that I can rejoice for their real homecoming in the Kingdom of God.

It is appointed once for man to die says the Bible, Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Yes, that day of death will come for all of us. We can't escape it. There is a time in the future when a rapture of God's people will take place but we do not know the time. For now, we die in the flesh. Then, we are changed in an instant to a spiritual body and rise to meet Christ when He returns in Great Glory with those who died in Christ before His Second Coming.

Makes one think about what is waiting for us on the other side.

For those of us who have faith in Jesus, we know where we will go; but for those who do not know Him as in being born again of the Spirit of God, it is not the same story.

Many of us go through life distracted from the Knowledge and Truth of God.

It is our choice to do so.

But friend, it is time to look into faith.

Who is God?

It is wise to realize that only a Holy, Almighty, Powerful God is the One Above All other man-made gods who are nothing but stone figures and wood carvings of half man and animals; or a star, sun, moon of the heaven that was created by the One Almighty God.

Better to think about the Creator God who created our species, and has a vested interest in us to be Righteous like Himself.

By giving us a free-will choice to make our own choices He has trusted that we will always choose Him if we love Him. These are the people/souls/spirits He wants to be spending time with.

Many have been good people; doing good things but living a good life is not the same as being a Holy person.

None of us on this earth are capable of attaining Holiness by ourselves.

Everyone of us is tainted by sin through deeds, thoughts, seeing, hearing, speaking.

He is Holy and we need to be made Holy to enter Heaven.

He won't force any of us to love Him, accept Him or have faith in Him.

That would make Him unholy, a dictator, evil.

It must be if He still desires to know us, that we must choose Him with a heart of desire and love for Him wanting to please Him, ready to learn about Him.

But is that enough?

No.

He decided to make a Way for those in that state of mind.

God decided to come to earth and pay His Punishment in full for all who would choose Him.

Immanuel, God with us, was born in Bethlehem and named Jesus.

Yes, that same Jesus Who some call "only a prophet" is in fact, God.

God says the only Way to Heaven is by being born again of the Spirit of God by believing in the Son of God, Jesus's sin atoning Sacrifice of Blood called for by The Law which is God Almighty.

Jesus is our Intercessor and He is Fully God.

Choose Him friend, and receive Eternal Life.

Forgive Them

18/04/2020 21:29

Friend, Easter has just passed and we so quickly go back to the world and it's ways, the memory of Christ's Great Love Gift fading into the distance of time, once again.

By doing this, we show Him that His Gift was nothing of value to us.

It's important though, to walk with Him daily; at home, at work and at play. He asks us not to forget Him and the Bood Sacrifice that was made for each of us.

The Bible tells us that staying close to our Saviour Lord keeps us in His Realm where all things are possible for us. When we walk away from Him, back turned, not listening or caring, He cannot by His own Law, make a Way for us.

We must action His Love by believing. He does not force Himself on us. He is not a tyranical dictator.

Even though He knows that many will not believe in Him He still desires and gives us time to respond to His outstretched hand that offers Godly Freedom and Eternal Life; where our soul lives on in another dimension, in another body, pain free,  knowing Peace.

Sometimes we are mad or angry at God for circumstances, but friend, they are circumstances caused by our own choices.

If you're living in a circumstance you no longer like, He urges you to look to Him and believe. This is how you can open the Door to Knowledge, and receive Wisdom from Him.

A believer can expect; if we forgive others, and humble ourselves to Jesus and follow His Way, we can expect Him to make a Way out for us.

It may take time, it may be hard but He does guide us back to the Path of Righteousness when He sees repentance, humble mind, and loving heart.

It's important to forgive others when we come to know Him; because He has Forgiven us.

Holy and complete, past, present and future sins are Forgiven when we see what a wretch we really are compared to Him, our Saviour Who desires to be our friend and brother.

Covenant Relationship

17/04/2020 21:42

Friend, as born again Christians, we have a Covenant Relationship with Jesus.

We know Him and believe in Him and this brings us many Holy Sanctified Benefits.

We are able to find satisfaction in God alone, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; The Trinity of Almighty God.

We have the eternal comfort of The Peace of God.

We are able to experience His Presence when we worship and glorify Him.

We are placed on a Path of Freedom from bondage to satanic influence and are taught by the Spirit how to take back Holy Ground, deny the flesh and all of the addictions that come from playing in satan's playground.

His Word is opened up to us in a Way that surpasses understanding by those who do not know God.

We learn His Word is eternal and that every Promise, Teaching or Utterance from the Spirit, Jesus and Father is for us this day, and for all in the future; not only for past generations.

We learn the Great Deceiver (satan) lurks about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour constantly.

We find that it is he (satan),who leads us into sin, and who keeps us there through generations of our family line, until one becomes so sick of the sin, they seek a Way out, and Jesus comes to the rescue

Only then will that generational sin be changed and future lives be saved from hell.

Seek ye the Kingdom of God.

Enter into a Covenant Relationship with Jesus the Saviour.

Only He is the Way.

There is no other way to the Father.

This is the Way the Father has planned and it is the Way that has set satan for sentencing; The Lake Of Fire.

Don't be vulnerable to satan, be available to Jesus Who offers you a Covenant Relationship signed in the Blood from His Brow, Hands, Feet and Side.

How He Loves Us

14/04/2020 11:43

Friend, do you feel inherently unloved within yourself?

Are you lonely?

Scared of the future?

Lost and confused by life?

Not understanding of why you are here?

Can't find a friend?

Not able to connect with people?

Thinking no-one loves you?

Maybe you're unable to be loved?

Think/resigned, maybe you will never know love?

But friend, the day of remembrance of what Christ did for you has just passed!

Did you not hear of His Great Love for you?

Was Good Friday just another day for you?

Did the reminder of The Lord of All Things hanging on a Cross, make you snicker?

Have you brushed off all that He did for you and continued on not giving Him another thought?

Do you even understand why Christians remember this day and sing praises in His Name to Him?

Please, consider looking at the Cross with Jesus hanging there, nailed to it.

The face, we do not really know what He looked like, but the slash marks from the whip you will see.

The crown of long sharp thorns you do see.

The blood flowing from the wounds and the mark from the spear that was thrust into his side as He was dying.

We can imagine what the anguish, the pain must have been like.

He was tortured for our/your sins. He was speared for our/your sins. He was given the crown of thorns as mockery for His Kingship; when in fact He is The Almighty King who gave life and breath to the very men who punished Him.

He allowed them life. He knows the number of hairs on each one's head!

At any moment He could have spoken to the Father to be released from the humiliation, the punishment, and the hate,  anger and revenge that was unleashed upon Him for our/your sins.

Friend, He is the Answer to all our needs.

It is He Who Loves us.

It is He Who paid for all our sins knowing The Law was so Pure that none were blameless and therefore none other than He could pay the price for all.

He sees what the evil one (satan) has done.

Since His death which fulfilled the Law we have a New testimony.

In Old Testament times one could only be reconciled to The Father by living according to The Ten Commandments.

The Judge ruled guilty and innocent and punishment was meted.

Now we in New Testament times are granted the Right to have a New Testimony.

The New Testimony is as follows.

Satan accuses those who believe in what Jesus has done for them and have agreed with Him to follow Him, and satan gathers to himself, those who deny Jesus.

At the Judgement satan will be our accuser and for those of us who believe, Jesus our Saviour Attorney will step forward in our defence.

Jesus will address The Judgement seat and claim the believer as one of His and that one will be saved from Just Punishment because Jesus has already paid the price for that soul's sin during it's lifetime on earth.

Friend, this is cause for celebration!

All your sins can be washed away, remembered no more by God because He sees the Blood of His Son, covering us.

Walk to the Foot of The Cross.

Kneel, look up at Him and weep your tears for the sins you have committed against Him, for He is Law, and every sin no matter how small is first aginst Him.

Admit you're a sinner.

Ask for His Grace and Mercy to cover you.

Talk to Him.

There's nothing He doesn't know about you.

Then, be silent and listen to your thoughts and hopefully you will hear His still small voice saying "I did it for you. I love you. I am your friend. Follow Me."

Spend as much time at the Cross as you need and return often to talk with Him.

We never want to be that one whom He says to, "I knew you not!"

Better to have a Friend in Jesus.

Better to call Him, Saviour.

Better to know His Love, freely given.

Better to relieve our earthly problems with His Word because it speaks Pure Truth to our hearts and minds.

Better to have the knowledge that even if we sin again and try our best to overcome with His Power, He will forgive us freely because we initially accepted Him in Truth and Love.

Better to accept all the Wonderful Holy Promises He offers to us in the Holy Spirit inspired Bible.
