Jeremiah 6:16

08/14/2014 09:53

Thus says the LORD,

" Stand by the roads,

and look, and ask

for the ancient paths,

where

the good way is;

and walk in it,

and

find rest for your souls".

Have you caught "glimpses"?

08/14/2014 09:40

The Lord gives us glimpses of who He is and what the Kingdom is as we follow Him.

Friend, have you seen glimpses?  A glimpse, perhaps?

It's like a lightning bolt that flashes across your thoughts while thinking and meditating on Him.

Cherish those my friend! They are Truth and meant to encourage you.  He met you at a certain point in your learning and that glimpse is all you could stand.  It is an acknowledgement from God that you are loved and worthy.

He has been merciful to you.  Thank Him.  Let that glimpse carry you on and forward to the Kingdom.  The thought was not yours but His Grace and Mercy showing you something you were ready to receive.  Do not take credit for it.

It was a Gift for you and you alone, from the lover of your soul to encourage you and enlighten you.

Receive and enjoy!

Peace

08/13/2014 10:49

A wonderful Christian singer Vicki Yohe sings; I want a peace beyond my understanding, I want to feel it  pour like rain in the middle of my hurting.

Isn't this what we all want?

God has it. Jesus offers it to you today.  Each day is a new day filled with God's Peace and Mercy.

We have to yield to it to receive it.  The easiest way to yield the flesh is through praise.  During this time we can realize who we are, that we are the created one and we can look up to the Creator and tell Him how much He means to us.

Friend, run to the Mercy Seat of God and cry out to Him.  Let it not be about you, but about Him.  There is mercy at the Mercy Seat of God.  He allows us to go to the Holy Place where His Mercy flows freely when we are covered by the Blood of Christ.

Tests, they are for us!

08/12/2014 13:40

Friend, is your faith in God and Godly beliefs constantly being tested?

Don't worry.  Stay the course.  The devil is allowed to try us.  We will experience persecutions and tribulations.  But let your faith be the Rock you stand on and let God's Word be the food and water that sustains you.

Rebuke the devil and he will flee.  Get used to rebuking him.  Look to Jesus the author and finisher of your faith.

No-one will ever love us more than Jesus.  He will get you through your troubles.  Praise Him at all times.  Let heart and mind be filled with praise for Him all day.  Let Jesus the lover of your soul be the first you think about when you awake and the last before you sleep.

Your journey is unique to you because your place in this world is unique to you.

Blessings.

Perilous Times Shall Come

08/12/2014 12:26

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful and unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false-accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof; from such turn away. 2 Timothy 3: 1-5 (kjv)

These words were written by Timothy  and later in this chapter he says in verse 16 ....All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (kjv)

Timothy is telling us that he was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write these words.  It is a warning to all so they can examine their conscience.

The questions are;

Am I a lover of self?

Do I covet what others have?

Am I a boaster and am I proud?

Do I lie?  Do I mislead?  Do I make false promises?

Have I set aside my parents good beliefs?

Am I unthankful and unholy to God?

Am I fake in my affections, leading others on?

Do I break my word and give false promises?

Do I accuse others when they are innocent?

Do I let my mouth run and not keep another's confidence?

Am I fiercly protective at all times even when it is not necessary?

Do I have an angry heart and mind?

Do I despise those who are good?

Am I a traitor to others?

Am I full of headiness, highminded, a lover of pleasure/fun/gaiety only?

Do I love God?

Am I involved in a belief system which professes to love God yet it does not recognize the God of the Bible and Torah?

Am I ever learning and seeking and never coming to the knowldge of the Truth?

Do I resist the Truth?

Friend, evil men and seducers shall become worse in these days.  Choose the Holy path of Jesus Christ.  Tell Him you are a willing servant who wishes to learn of Him and be blessed by the Treasures He has stored up for you, waiting for the day you receive His free Gift of Salvation.

Blessings to you!

Are you your own god?

08/11/2014 08:34

There are multitudes of people who are unbelievers.  To them there is no God.

Is this you? Are you part of the movement of atheists?  Do you believe that science has all the answers?

Are you of the belief that man can change the world and make his own destiny?

But, friend, how can he?  Many have tried.  It's a dangerous zone - believing in our own strength to move mountains of old thoughts and belief systems and replace them with other equally wrong beliefs.

How will man acheive that, but by the methods used by others who have desired the same in the past?  It will lead to small factions imposing their will and eventually dictator types popping up everywhere to control populations. In so doing, they will kill and destroy those who do not believe. Are you to be a part of that?

Once a movement gets strong in numbers it gives the members a feeling of being "right" and having the right to change rules and laws to their favour.  It no longer is a democracy.

As a believer in Jesus, I can and do live with opposing thoughts and groups who are in opposition to my beliefs. In a democracy we live reasonably peacefully while being governed by a government we may not have voted for. But this is because the first laws laid down were inclusive of all faiths and beliefs.

There is a movement afoot around the world which is, to the Christian, known to be from the underworld of Satan.  Good people full of their own importance.  They are seeking to be leaders and to gather followers. They are worldly.  They are movie stars. They are University Professors.  They are "Great Thinkers" of our generation.

They do not realize they are being used by Satan. Beware, the path leads to destruction for your soul.  For them, there is no God.  Their intelligence is their God. They have fallen in love with their own "great mind," and not the One who has given them their great mind. But, they serve Satan unknowingly - he allows them to believe they are righteous and perfect in their assessment of  how things are and should be.

In Christ we have freedom and we have a Teacher who will guide any humble and contrite heart and mind into Truth.  Will this happen in an instant or overnight?  For some who have great knowledge that only needs to be shown some small "key" they can have a revelation that will shock their world.  For most of us, it is a beautiful journey filled with daily revelations that reassure us, enlighten us, and fill us with inspiration.

If you close the door and say there is no God, for you that is your choice and God will respect it.

Please keep an open mind - where the Holy Spirit can minister to you in the way that you will understand.

Praise is the Key

08/10/2014 19:52

Friend, when you know  God you will see the beauty of who He is and you will have a desire to thank Him for showing you Himself.

When you enter into a state of praise that shows Him how much you appreciate and love Him, our Lord and Saviour is moved to be merciful to you.

If you see Him as a mean or angry God, one who will only give to you if you are "good" then you will never unlock the storehouse of His Treasures for you.  In that state you cannot praise Him.  If you did it would be phony and dead, meaningless.

Lift your hands to Him now and tell Him how wonderful He is.  Begin to thank Him for loving you even while you are a sinner.  Thank Him for the Sacrifice of His Body on the cross, the Blood that flowed and covers your sin, the Plan of the Father that defeats evil and gives you everlasting life.  There is so much to be thankful for!

Praise unlocks the storehouse filled with His Light and blessings of Mercy in all areas of your life.

There are many beautiful songs of praise recorded by Christian artists.  Fill your home with these sounds and sing to Him.  You will be blessed.
