Every Defeat Is Important

08/02/2015 13:45

Friend, have you found it a difficult journey - your walk with the Lord?

Remember every defeat of evil is important.  This life is all about overcoming, not giving in to the enemy of your soul.

Today we see so much of that celebrated in the world around us.

It's important to remember what is right and good, and make sure, that whatever you are agreeing in your spirit that your soul is entitled to do, is according to what God has said is Righteous.

Agree in your heart to search out God's Word on any subject to see if that is what He has said is good for you and will bring you no added troubles.

When celebrities expound on whatever their latest sinful life is undertaking, and try to convince all the rest of us that it is good, and will bring us happiness - be careful.  Go immediately to God's Word and see for yourself what the Lord of your soul has to say.

His Words are simple and concise, He does not mess around and they will speak to you of Truth. Be prepared to do an about-turn if you have to, and stay connected to Jesus. He will make a Way for you and you will derive happpiness and joy from the overcoming of the sin.

Millions have and it is possible for you to also.  Do not be afraid. God is for you to be an overcomer, and He has seen all the sin of the world and there is nothing new to Him. From old, satan has tested God with all the abominations he can dream up but God believes in you and when you focus on Him, he will see you through it.

See Him as the anchor to your soul.  He is not moved by the whims of evil and all it's supposed power.

Be bessed, friend. Have hope, and grasp on to the Power that is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and grow and learn and receive peace from the enemy.

The Praise Of Gladness

07/31/2015 10:45

Friend, do you have a glad heart?

Almighty God loves you! This alone is grounds for gladness.

Even though you are a sinner, He sees your potential and because you are part of His creation, He loves you.

Every thing He creates is perfect. We may look at something and to our eyes it is not perfect, but God sees the spirit within and knows that He gave you a perfect spirit.

We allow the world to tarnish our spirit; and the things that have shaped us in the world like abuse and unloving and uncaring adults has pushed us towards accepting anger and revenge and sorrow into our hearts and minds.

But God sent His Son to alleviate all that suffering.

When we accept Jesus as our personal Saviour, we are saying to all the negativity that we no longer want a part of it and that we are accepting forgiveness for our own part in the destruction of our soul. We are telling the Lord that we accept that He will renew our mind and spirit and; that we turn over our body to Him for healing also.

We should not run from God, but run to Him.  He will make a Way for us and day by day it will get better in our spirit and soul and body.

The sooner we fully submit to His leadership of our life, the sooner we shed the trappings of infants and begin to grow in the Kingdom.

Offer up the praise of gladness to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and accept the healing process of your mind, spirit and body.

How far you have gone down the bad road will determine how much work the Lord has to map out for you. But He sees all and knows all and is therefore in the perfect position to get you out of the mirey mud you have walked into.

Have a glad heart and prepare your mind for the journey forward into the Light, to receive Peace and Comfort for your soul.

Don't hold back and allow any stronghold to stay in your mind, body or spirit.  Get rid of it all and let the Lord fill you with His healing balm.

Praise Him for all He is going to do in your new life in Christ who saved you.

2Timothy 1:7

07/28/2015 11:33

For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and love, and of a sound mind.  2Timothy 1:7

Friend, the Lord in His infinite Mercy wishes to renew your spirit.

Will you allow Him this pleasure?

He has given you the gift of life and He owns all He has created and set free.  The mystery of the Creator cannot be fathomed by men. He has made it so for His Good Purposes.

He just asks us to look up and see Him and see that He loves us and is Truth.

To accuse Him of our failings or accuse Him for failing us in something is foolishness.

The Spirit asks us to examine our "self," heart and mind, and see that we are the culprit in our own demise.  Yes, others have hurt us but we choose how to react.  It is our choice that leads us to a place far from God when we are faithless.

Go towards God and see what He has to say and follow His Truths to find the love and acceptance you are craving.  Put aside all your blaming of God and see that He is still there, loving you anyway - as you accuse Him.

It is the devil you should accuse.  He is the one who you have allowed to enter your temple and dessicrate it with filth and unbelief.  He, satan is your destroyer and he is laughing and having a grand old time watching you twist and squirm and harangue God.

Be aggressive in your approach to extricating yourself from the clutches of satan. God has asked us to allow the Spirit to fill us with a renewed mind and heart.

We can learn of God's Promises for us and receive Power - through faith in the Son of God.

Do it, friend. Be blessed.

Meditation 1Peter 1:7

07/28/2015 11:08

Meditation Verse

Scripture.  That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.  1 Peter 1:7  KJV

Peter a disciple of Jesus, advises that our faith in God is worth more than the purest gold. We should value our belief as pure gold and protect it from being stolen away or giving it away as many do.

He says our faith will be tried in the fire as gold that emerges pure and unblemished. This is our daily walk, the trying in the fire and the pouring off of the slag. The gold/faith getting more and more pure as we slough off old ways and thoughts.

When Jesus appears at the second coming of Christ, Peter says our faith should be worthy of praise and honour.  So it is without doubt, the journey we take with Christ on this earth is going to be filled with trial by fire.

But, God says in Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I Am with thee: be not dismayed; for I Am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of My Righteousness."

Friend, have an open mind and allow the Spirit to reveal what it is He has for you, each day.  Vow the next time you are quickened by your "conscience" that you will listen and follow that which your Conscience (The Holy Spirit) is showing you. Be a willing soul and a seeking and searching spirit for Truth and you will find it.

Fear not, for God is with us, and He is for us. He will never lead you astray - that is satan's domain.

Prayer

Lord, thank You that You are with me at all times and that You are working out Your perfect Will for me as I walk with You through the trials of my life.  Help me to draw close to You and make You the focus of my life.  Amen.

Psalm 51:1-4 - A Prayer for Mercy

07/26/2015 11:22

Have Mercy upon me O God, according to Thy Lovingkindness: according to the multitude of Thy tender Mercies, blot out my transgressions.

Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.  For I acknowldge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

Against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in Thy sight: that Thou might be justified when Thou speakest, and be clear when Thou judgest.

Psalm 51: 1-4

Ephesians

07/26/2015 10:55

The Apostle Paul wrote these words to believers and they are Words for us today who believe.

They are spoken by the Spirit to Paul who wrote them down for the Ephesians and future believers and seekers to know the mind of God Almighty.

And the verses also explain clearly to a seeker of Truth, their spiritual situation before accepting the Gift of God - Salvation through Christ.

Ephesians 2:1-9

And you hath He made new, who were dead in trespasses and sins; where in times past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air (satan), the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience: among whom we also had our conversation in times past in the lusts of the flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

But God, who is rich in Mercy, for His great Love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by Grace we are saved) and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus; that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His Grace in His Kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

For by Grace we are saved through faith; and that not of ourselves: it is the Gift of God. Not of works lest any man should boast.

Sorrowful Heart

07/25/2015 07:41

Friend, the Lord knows when our hearts are sorrowful.

He promises to lead us through the dark places of sorrow and uncertainty.

The Holy Spirit is here in this world working with the armies of Holy angels to bring us the peace we so desperately need, in times of sorrow and uncertainty.

Allow Him to do the work of God in your life, to lift you up and heal you, to hold your head and give you water that will quench your thirsty soul, and food for your spirit.

God says, "I AM with you always" to the believers.

Know it and count on it.

Let Him go forth before you each day, and follow Him, basking in the Glow; the Light of His Glory and receiving all the blessings that are pouring out of Him.

Do not close yourself off from the multitude of Godly blessings that pour out from the Throne each day. Be in the place to receive them -  faithful and repentant, and loving Him.
