Meditation

Scripture.  Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: ( For we walk by faith not by sight:)  We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.  2 Corinthians 5:6-8  KJV

Paul describes the Christian viewpoint on dying in this letter to the believers at Corinth.

He says we are to be confident that whilst living, our soul is enclosed in the body.  Spirit clothed in clay.  Our spirit is absent from the face to face presence of the Lord while we live.

It is our faith that carries us.  We do not see Him in bodily form so our sight cannot help us to know Him as we could get to know a friend here among us. This is a confidence we can have!

But, Paul says we should have a second confidence also.  We should be willing he says, to die and not worry about death, knowing that having been saved through accepting the Sacrifice by Jesus (God) on the cross for our sins, we have gained the right to be present with Him, face to face in spiritual form, after our physical death.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for being the Way to everlasting life and reconciliation with the Father.  Help me to be a light on the Path, gently guiding others to the one and only Way of Truth and Redemption.  The Father's Plan is so simple, all can understand and believe. Amen.

Friend, the Lord surrounds you with a Wall of Protection!  His Holy Spirit and an army of Holy angels will keep you safe!

All that is required is close communion with Him and obedience.  If we do not obey then we step out from the wall of protection and evil can and will attack us.

Remember that He is your wall of protection wherever you go and do not try or test Him, but be like a child whose hand must be held to keep him safe from the clutches of evil.

Wiful children always find themselves in bust-ups of some kind, because they do not heed a parent's voice.  Think back to your own childhood.  Were you wilful?  If so, you are more than likely wilful now you are an adult.  Even though wilfulness has not worked for you.

The world even celebrates wilfulness these days.  But God asks us to surrender that wilfulness to Him and He will show us a new Way. 

Give your hand to the Lord and tell yourself to follow and not lead.  One day you will see that you are walking in Godliness and the Lord has let go of your hand because you have learnt obedience and it's your source of pure joy.

Run to the Fortress that is your God and stay within the walls of protection for a while.  Surrounded by those walls you are safe and free to get to know Holy Jesus, your most Loyal Friend. Be blessed!

Do not buy into the lie that one skin colour is better than another, or one culture is better than another.

Many are the people who are enslaved into generational hatreds against one type of person or culture or country or tribe.

Years ago on a Saturday Night Live television show there was a comedy skit based on two people dressed as half black and half white.  They looked similar but on close inspection one person's face was black on the left side and white on the right side - the other person was black on the right side and white on the left side. In all other aspects they were the same but because of this difference they hated each other and found fault with each other. Only with their own "kind" were they trustful.

But, really when we live in this world, even our next door neighbour is going to be different from us.  It is foolish to just hate another for reasons that they can never change; like the color of their skin or their culture or; people type they have been born into.

Can you change from what you were born as, to another type?  Such as English to Greek? It's impossible!

That kind of hatred is foolish and will keep the channels of spirituality blocked so that you will never "see" what God has for you.  You have to let go of those hatreds and move on.

Decide today to let go of those long held hatreds and open the channel to God's forgiveness for yourself and then be a conduit of forgiveness to those you have previously hated.  When you see them as God sees them it will be easy.  He loves them just as much as He loves you and died for their sins also.

Be the one who is able to change and if others won't, it is not for you to return to hating and revenge.  It is just for you to walk in Godly Knowledge and Compassion.  God will give you Wisdom and make a Way where there seemed to be no way if you lay it all at the bottom of the Cross and leave it there.  God's Timing is Perfect, so allow Him to be the One who works on both parties - yourself and the other who you previously hated.

And, don't typecast yourself! That's a trap set by evil.  It doesn't allow for growth of any kind.  Typecasting is like falling in a pit and digging yourself deeper and deeper into it.  That mindset will never allow you to see your full potential. You can at any time be who God says you are. That is the ONLY way out of any pit you have fallen into.

Friend, is the evil one dancing with delight at your expense?

Are you the soul who is easily led into the clutches of evil?

Have you found a home with evil? Many do. Millions of souls have walked through the "door" to hell and now reside in complete terror - surrendered to evil thinking, evil intent to others - even while alive.

Their souls no longer their own they think.  But God, has made a Way for them to return to Him. 

There is no neutral ground. Not having chosen Jesus as Saviour, relegates a soul to the clutches of satan. Living for self is the first level in the evil world.  This level allows the soul to be deceived into thinking it is in charge of itself and it has not done anything sinful to keep it from going to Heaven.

Satan is happy for that soul to stay there and resist  his efforts to further drag it down into a deep relationship with him.  Slowly and surely he will though unless the soul stops and examines itself.

God allows satan to do his work and in those trials we have the God given right to say "No, no more!"

We can decide that we no longer want to be on that path leading to our doom.

If you recognize this is happening to you and you no longer want to be caught for evil purposes, then repent of your past choices and tell God you now see Him as Holy and you want to get to know Him and be placed on the Path of Righteousness.

The Father sent His Son, Jesus to die for your sins, to make a Way where you can be reunited with the Father and have a Friend for this life and the Life to come.  Now is the time to believe.  Jesus loves you, He went to the cross for you.  Your past can be forgiven.  His Blood was shed as a Sacrifice for you.  He was whipped for your transgressions and punished for your sins. A sinless man was sorely punished for you to have Life Eternal.  It is the Gift of all gifts.  Such Love for one so undeserving, don't you think?

The Father had to look away when His Son was on the Cross.  But there was Joy Everlasting in Heaven when the Son rose to Heaven and the Father's Will and Law was complete.

Sinners had a Way. Satan had been outsmarted. Sinners had a choice. Gentiles had a Way. Joy, Joy, Joy!

Friend, are you dogged by anger and hate towards others?  Do you see all their faults? 

The world today is full of "personal judgements" towards others.  Television shows, especially the reality type are based on showing up "other people's" flaws while supposed friends plot to "change" them.

God asks us to direct those thoughts towards ourselves.  Look inward He says and open your heart and mind to examine your own heart and the thoughts and intents of your soul and spirit.

We carry so many burdens with us through life and it is good to stop and examine each section of our life.  We have our work life, our family life, our personal inner life, our worldly life.  Each of these has levels that need to be looked at closely also.

Where we find anger and hate and untruth we should decide to cut the ties to these and let go and let God decide the fate of those particular ties that we have decided to let loose into the ether.

Cultivate calmness and peace and Godly love in those places where you have cut off the tie that bound you to the hate, anger, bitterness and untruths.

Make this a daily practise and if necessary, practise throughout the day and give it to God in prayer so that the evil demons who hold the ties that bind you will know that you are bound and determined to let go of those evil ties that have squeezed you dry for some time, even to the point of causing mental and physical distress.

Do not return to those thoughts and feelings.  Recognize the new way in which they are presented to you by evil and deny them a place in your heart and mind.

Be the child of God that He desires and follow the Path to Eternal Life! 

Hebrews 4:12-16

For the Word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and joints and their marrow, and is able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart.  And there is not a creation that is not manifest to His sight, but all things are naked and openly exposed to the eyes of Him with whom we have an accounting.

Seeing therefore that we have a Great High Priest who has passed through the Heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold onto our confessing of Him.  For we have as High Priest not one who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who HAS been tested in ALL respects like ourselves, but He is without sin - ever.

Let's therefore, approach with freeness of speech to the Throne of undeserved kindness, that we may obtain mercy and find undeserved kindness for help at the right time.

Friend, the above passages from the Holy Bible are spoken to you today by the Holy Spirit.  Take heed and allow your mind to discern the true intent of these words for your soul and spirit.

Here the Spirit tells us that God's Word will delve deep into our soul to touch a cord, to resonate with our spirit, to make known to us a Truth. 

He says the Lord is able to read the true intention of the heart when it sets out to do something, anything. 

We may say we are doing or giving for a reason that will bring us a glimmer of notoriety, standing in the commnity, fame or whatever, but God, He knows the Truth that maybe we haven't even recognized, because we are so used to doing whatever it is and have convinced ourselves that we are doing it for another reason - the goodly reason when in fact it has sinful overtones at it's heart.

Yes, God knows the Truth.

Yet the Spirit says that God understands us and wants to help us change to be the real soul that He gave life to.  He knows that life has raised us with evil intent to snatch us away from Him.  But He also knows that we have the ability to stop everything and turn to Him for forgiveness and peace. He is willing to give it when the heart and mind surrender to His Lordship.

Turn to the Throne of Undeserved Kindness and receive all He has for you - why continue to keep running when He knows the Truth about you anyway?

Meditation Verse
