Friend, walking along the Christian Path can be difficult, but the Lord asks us never to despair or allow depression to rule our mind.

He will help us through the trials and tribulations of the flesh and soul.  The Way when first we become a believer can be rocky because we have lived for so many years in doubt, denial, lies and deceit.  Satan will use those strongholds he has built up in your mind and body to keep you bound in chains.

But, Jesus can break those chains.  Just allow him full rein to do as He pleases.  Let His design for your new Pathway to Him be the one that you allow, and follow him along that Path.  Let Him be the one who teaches and guides your soul into new territory of the Spirit.

He asks us to be helpful to others just as He is being helpful to us.  Let that healing, loving energy flow through you into the lives of those you love and out into the world of friends and acquaintances and neighbours, even to strangers.

Today decide to not give way to satan and the illnesses he has filled your mind with.  Clean them out one by one - anger, hate, pride, ego, laziness, lying, stealing, manipulating others, cruelty, etc.

Do today that which Jesus has been urging you to do. Step boldly into the world and know that God loves you and has made a Way for you to be forgiven. Belief in His Son brings forgiveness.  He has said it and He is not a liar.

Friend, be joyful and happy that you know the Risen Christ.  He is your Friend, Saviour, Life, Love and Peace.  In Him you can rest. In Him you can do all things you must do to contine living and have an abundant and meaningful life.

In Him you can accept the Gift of Forgiveness that sets you free from the binds of Satan.

Tell Jesus, " I accept the Free Gift of Salvation and Forgiveness!" and go forward into the Light.

Friend, have you discovered that there is Power in using the name of Jesus according to His Will and Law?

This is a benefit of being a born again Christian.  Knowing there is Power in His Name is so empowering to the soul.

Never be afraid to say His Name or call on Him by name when in need.

Demons flee when we call on Him in faith, putting ourselves last and Him first.  They know who He Is.  He is All That Is. He can do all things and He does help His beloved.

Staying close to Him and enjoying fellowship with Him will keep evil at bay and open the doors of heaven to us. Asking for our needs according to His Will and in the Name of Jesus will bring about changes in our life and show evil that we have a Deliverer and a Mighty Warrior who fights battles for us.

When we reveal to satan and his demons that we are aligned by faith with Jesus, he knows he will not win the war for our soul.  All he can do is create little battles all around us as an annoyance and hope we will succumb by having less faith.

But, friend, have big faith.  The Lord is with you, He loves you and you have the privilege of calling on Him by name, "Jesus."

Never be afraid to say His Name.

Jesus, Jesus, lover of my soul, how I love You, Lord! Be with me always and help me to keep my heart and mind focused on You, Jesus.

Friend, as in anything in life, the quicker we accept a situation, the sooner we are able to move forward, uninterrupted by obstacles our mind puts in our way.

So it is with faith in God.  Choosing to empty our mind of all the negatives and open up to the possibilities of Gods' Word, allows us to move forward with Jesus as our Guide and Mentor.  Now, we have a mind and heart that is willing to hear, listen carefully and learn.

When we have this frame of mind, things we need to know that the Lord has placed in front of us, are suddenly illuminated and we can see clearly everything He wants to show us.

All the Promises of God for us; we begin to see that they are not just for others, but we too, are able to receive them for our lives.

Without faith, how do we pray?  Without faith in God, how will He hear us?  A desperate call He does hear but just asking for things without faith will never bring them to you.  Evil may step in and give you what you pray for but remember who holds those purse strings. Satan and his demons, that's who. 

Choose to have faith and ask God for the ability to grow in faith.

Friend, God owns "all that is," both the seen and unseen.

He can supply all your needs.

He is the King and Judge.

He is your Only Supplier.

In business we have many suppliers. We buy a few supplies from many suppliers - other businesses. 

We depend on them to fulfill our orders just as we have ordered.  We do not like an order that gets delivered with some items missing.  It halts our business or causes delays for our customers.

But, God never runs out of what we need!

He will supply all our needs according to His riches.

His supply lines are Wisdom, Salvation, Love, Grace, Mercy, Truth, Forgiveness, Joy, Comfort, Kindness, Liberty, Patience, Obedience, Promise, Prayer, Gentleness, Courage, Contentment, Thankfulness, Guidance, Faith.

Surely in His Supply there is something you need.  Ask Him for it. It's yours according to your faith.

As you become more aware and faithful, the supply door opens and your cup fills up to overflowing with anything you ask for.

Believe in Jesus and ask for the supplies you need.  He will not deny you.  You are the one who has the choice to receive or deny what you asked for.

Friend, God calls us to have Hope in our hearts at all times.

Hope in His Goodness will see us through every day.  Knowing that He loves us and is walking with us through any trial or trouble will get us through it with Hope in our heart. 

Keep faithful and ever looking to Him for guidance and being open to learn Godly facts for the renewing of our minds.  This is Hope.

Hope is a beautiful thing. It fills the soul and spirit of man and shines a Light that heals and lightens our load.

Hope makes the journey through life more enjoyable.  It casts out fear and doubt, it keeps us focused on the Spiritual Path to Jesus.

My Hope Road always has a Golden Cross up ahead shining brightly to remind me I am on the correct Path to God.

If that light gets dim or is gone then I know the path I have chosen is incorrect - and I can easily jump back onto the right Path.  A quick prayer to ask for forgiveness and a spoken word of praise to my Lord will put my feet back where they should be and I can continue on in Hope once again.

Do you have a restless spirit, or do you feel a disturbance in your soul that keeps you from having Hope in God as your Lord? Do as I have done and correct that quickly so that Hope once again flows into your soul and spirit.

Hope brings a calmness and a peaceful feeling to the soul.  It looks to the future and does not consider the past.

It is a Gift from God and we all are allowed to have it. 

Choose to have Hope in Jesus who died to save you from the hopeless life of a continual and habitual sinner who has no Hope. 

We alone have the power to diminish Hope in our lives.  God never removes Hope from us.  We are our own worst enemy in this.  We make evil choices and this dims the light of Hope in our soul, but at any time when we become aware of what has happened, we can choose Hope once again to Light our soul and spirit.

Friend, do you have the assurance that God loves and cares for you?

This is the one thing we all need.  It is the thing that will give us an inner peace.

Assurance of God's love I think you will agree could be the thing you are most in need of. Wouldn't things be much better if you had the assurance of His love and care; like a little child knowing it's father or mother totally loves them and will always be there for them?

We are always trying to get the assurance of love and care from our spouse, siblings, parents, co-workers, in our lives but even when they give as much as they can, it still seems to be lacking in some way or we find fault with it.

But, God's Love is different. To have that assurance, really does settle things. You begin to know that you are loved unconditionally as you learn more and more about God's character. 

Take comfort from God, and know that He loves and cares for you and will always be the lover of your soul. He knows the real you. The spirit He gave to you is part of Him. That is who He connects with and loves. That part of you is the part He nurtures and teaches and grows so that your body and mind will benefit in this life and eventually when your time comes to exit this life, you will be with Him in Heaven. 

Get to know your Creator/Redeemer through the Holy Bible.  The words it contains have the very essence of who God is, how Powerful He is, How loving He is, of Truth, Grace, Mercy and Life.

Find out about your Saviour by beginning to read the New Testament and hearing about the life of Jesus while He was on the earth, about how His crucifixion came to be and about the resurrection.  Learn about the healing He did and how and why the people were healed.

Unclutter your mind and offer up a prayer for wisdom to be given to you as you read so that you will be in the right frame of mind to receive all God has for you.

You will find that those who believe, have an assurance from God that He loves them and will receive all His promises.

Friend, having this assurance releases us to be forgiving to others, because we know that we have been forgiven; and if a Holy God can forgive us our sins, then we can forgive others.

Meditation

Scripture.  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba Father.  The Spirit  Itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ.  Romans 8:15-17a KJV.

The Apostle Paul says we (believers) have not received the spirit of bondage again. 

This statement infers that we have previously been in bondage.  The Bible ( God's Holy Word to us) does state many times, that we are in bondage to evil when we enter this world, from an infant until we receive Christ, who paid the price of our bond and came to set us free.

When we acknowledge Jesus as our Lord, we become joint heirs with Him of the Kingdom.  He must remain Lord, although He is Friend, Companion, Counsellor, Brother, Teacher, Saviour, Judge.

God the Father, has adopted us into His Family.  We are heirs!  We have rights under God's Law!  We also have obligations and duties in the Kingdom which we should be happy to perform for One so Magnificent.

I urge you to read God's Word daily, to hear the Spirit speaking to you about God's love for you.

Prayer

Abba Father, thank You for this great Gift of adoption into the family of God.  Help me to walk and talk like a child of Yours.  Amen.
