Glorify God

06/01/2015 11:48

Friend, it is well known to born again Christians that when they glorify God, they are building up treasure in Heaven for themselves.

So take no thought for self to have glory from the world. Many seek glory - like entertainers who strive to outdo one another and heap all kinds of awards on each other - but that glory will not suffice for a lifetime, nor will it have any value when you stand before Jesus at the end of your life here on earth.

We can have glory heaped on us in the here and now but we should walk humbly and exalt God who allowed it.  Give Him the Glory He deserves so as to keep well balanced in this life.

He knows whose heart is pure in this matter.  We needn't judge others, but we should judge our own intentions.

Always honour Him who gave you life and sustains you daily.  Embrace the day because He has given you a new day.  Walk the Path He has designed for you to have victory in Godly matters. Give honour and glory to Him who is Worthy to be praised and blessed for all He does for His creation.

Nothing escapes His attention.  He is aware of everything, every action, thought, of all creation. When a grain of sand is moved, He knows it.  The largeness of Who He is we cannot imagine.  The Beauty of His appearance we cannot imagine. His Love is beyond compare. His Truth and Law are Just and exact with no loopholes like the law of men.

When we glority Him, we do a good thing for our life, because He is generous to fill us with the gifts of the Spirit, in return.

Keep On Hoping

05/31/2015 11:12

Friend, never lose hope!

If you are praying and weeping before the Lord, He instructs us to never lose hope.  He is working behind the scenes of our lives.  He is orchestrating things to come together for our good.  All things always come together for His Good so just have patience. If we ask, we will receive in due time according to His Will, all we asked for; and generously running over our cup, God's goodness and mercy.

As time goes by we are able to look back and see the Good Works He has done for us and those we love. You won't believe how He accomplished some things.  The way you saw ahead, would have brought more problems, but the Way He made is Perfect, and you won't be able to deny the Completeness of his Will.

He is Holy and it shows in all his handiwork. Many people testify of His Holiness, and the Beauty of what He does.

The Lord comunicates with our spirit. Holy Spirit to human spirit, so trust Him and let all your apprehensions fall away.

Make a decision to be available. Rid yourself of worry and fear and anger and all vices and be available.

Step back from the world and allow the Spirit to communicate with your spirit and receive the life giving Peace that transcends all other human needs.  Focus on Jesus and the Father and Holy Spirit.

Thirty minutes each day, ask them to forgive you, love you and fill you with hope for the future.

Psalm 51:6

05/31/2015 11:03

Meditation

Scripture.  Behold, Thou desirest Truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part Thou shall make me to know Wisdom. Psalm 51:6  KJV

King David wrote this verse from Chapter Fifty-one after the Prophet Nathan had convicted him of his sin with Bathsheba.  The Prophet broke the hold that sin had on him, by speaking Truth, and David realized he needed to repent and so, he asked for God's Mercy.

David admits he is a sinner from when he was shaped inside the womb. He asks to be purged and to be forgiven.

We can use this whole chapter as a prayer to God.  The words help us to acknowledge our state before God and how sin is abhorrent to God, how He can never accept sin.

It will help us to ask for forgiveness and purging of the sin in our life.

It is so beautifully written and the Spirit has included it as one worthy of us singing, praying aloud to God, and meditating upon for our growth in Godly matters and for Godly Wisdom.

Prayer
Lord, thank You that You have shown us the way to ask for forgiveness. Help me to keep this Psalm 51 of David in my heart, and use the words to learn how to pray to You.  Amen

Prayer Is A Weapon

05/29/2015 15:10

Friend, do you feel like you are being attacked?  Does it seem you cannot advance in the faith?  Are you "held back" by an unseen force?

The Holy Spirit urges us to pray at all times. Prayer is the answer the Holy Bible says.  The Father hears all our prayers.  It is the weapon we can use against our adversary, the devil and his demonic army.

They are the ones who are keeping you from God.  They want to see you disassociate from your connection to the Spirit and Jesus.

Why would this be?  Because they know that eventually you will understand that the only thing that will conquer them in your life is prayer from a faithful and grateful heart.

We are in a battle daily with evil, and prayer is our only defence.

Use it wisely. Pray for yourself and others like you never have before, and pray continuously, as you go about your day. Praise the Lord for His knowledge and the answers He has for your problems.  Be available with a humble heart to receive all He has for you.  Recognize His hand at work and thank Him, because He will change things to make a way for you even when you don't see results quickly - He is at work when you pray and praise.

Ask for wisdom and safety for the journey of life.  Ask for urgent needs to be fulfilled. Ask Him to change your heart to know Him on a deeper level, to understand His Law and judgements. Pray for your loved ones to have Salvation, to have softened hearts and minds that will accept Jesus as Lord.

If you are in danger, ask the Lord to surround you with His Holy angels to protect you.

King Solomon decided long ago that to ask God for Godly wisdom was the best request a man could make of God.  Wisdom will tell you to wait on God, to obey God, to learn from God, to love God, to have a personal relationship with God. When you do this He will fill you with abundant life and inner joy, give you an understanding beyond what evil can offer, of the world and heaven.  Your knowledge will pervade all your choices and be pleasing to God from whom blessings and love are flowing to you when you allow God to be the only One you look to for answers.

We are given prayer as a weapon to use and as a means of having a personal relationship with the Father.

Micah 6:8b

05/29/2015 11:25

Micah 6:8b    What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.

Friend, we learn in other scriptures that a born again Christian can have a bold faith but it is not the boldness of the world that Jesus asks us to have.  It's more of a confidence within, that tells us we know our Saviour in a personal way.  (We have a relationship of which the bonds are strong.)

Here Jesus asks us to walk justly in all our dealings with others.  Sometimes others will not understand that justness but you can only pray that at some stage in their life the Holy Spirit will be able to get through to them and they will see that you did deal justly with them.

We have a set of laws to adhere to - both Godly and of the world.  They should always be a part of our conscious decision making.  To know those laws in the inward parts is to give us the ability to quickly use that knowledge to always make lawful decisions.

Will we make mistakes? Yes in our young years but as we go along in life and practise godliness, we become much better at hearing the Spirit when He corrects us - thereby  allowing us to make the correction that keeps us on the right path.

Jesus also speaks of kindness and this should always be a part of justice.  Not to break a law in favour of kindness, but to deal kindly taking into account the severity or continual injustice that is being perpetrated.

After all, Jesus deals kindly and justly with us.  His mercies are new every morning.  Today we get another chance to get it right, to accept Him as our Saviour-Lord; to begin to walk humbly with Him and to accept the guidance of the Holy Spirit and; to know the greatest Love of all has loved you and wants to be your Redeemer.

He paid the price for you to get into Heaven.  He shed the Blood.  He was the Sacrifice.  He suffered the penalty set by God, for the sins of your soul.

If He is calling you, thank Him and know that to Him you are, "Beloved, child of Mine."

The world will never do that for you - only He can.

Luke 13:22-30

05/27/2015 12:28

Luke 13: 22- 30

And He (Jesus) went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

Then said one unto Him, Lord are there few that be saved? And He said unto them.

Strive to enter in at the straight gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

When once the Master of the house is risen up, and hath shut the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; He shall answer and say unto you, I know you not who ye are:

Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in Thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

But, He shall say, I tell you, I know you not who ye are; depart from Me, all ye workers of iniquity.

There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

And souls shall come from the east and from the west - and from the north and from the south and shall sit down in the Kingdom of God.

And behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

Friend, the above worlds are those spoken by Jesus as remembered by Luke with the help of the Holy Spirit.

He speaks of many saying they know of Him but He says they do not know Him.

This is the difference that we need to understand.

Do you "know of" Jesus or do you "know" Jesus?

If you desire to go to Heaven and be with God then you should be able to answer, "I know Jesus" with confidence and in Truth.

Bless you on your journey.

Who giveth food to all flesh: for His Mercy endureth forever.

O give thanks unto the God of heaven; for His Mercy endureth forever.

The above Psalm is a song King David sings before the Lord as a way of thanking Him.  He remembers the past and gives thanks; He speaks of God's Goodness and knows it is all because of the Mercy character of God, and David recognizes that Israel must be thankful and believe to continue to receive and reap the benefits of being a child of God.

We can learn so much from this Psalm and King David.

We can use the same words and substitute our own names and family names when we give thanks and pray.
